12. 1986 (39.5)
There are 5 new entries to the top PPVs of all time with the two most notable going straight in at joint 8th. Both In Your House PPVs Beware Of Dog and International Incident were good PPVs and although they don’t feature and classic matches, they don’t have any particularly bad ones either. IN Your House 12: Mind Games ranks fairly highly too whilst Summerslam 96 and King Of The ring 96 rank 25th and 28th respectively. It’s because of these two shows that the ranking for 1996 on the whole has lowered from a 59 average to a 57.9 average. This is till good enough to keep 1996 as the top ranking year so far.
Most PPVs Wrestled On
1. Bret Hart (45)
2. Shawn Michaels (44)
3. British Bulldog (34)
4. The Undertaker (31)
5. Hulk Hogan (27)
6= Owen Hart/The Blue Blazer (26)
6= Jake “The Snake” Roberts (26)
8. “Macho Man” Randy Savage (25)
9. Tito Santana (24)
10= “Million Dollar Man” Ted Dibiase (23)
10= Razor Ramon (23)
10= Marty Jannetty (23)
For this one, I give you a top 12. The top 3 stay the same as the list on the last Stat Pack however Shawn Michaels has caught Bret Hart right up as he hasn’t been in action for 6 months. Michaels is only one PPV behind now. Bret has fought on three quaters of the PPVs up to this point. British Bulldog keeps his third position and also makes some ground on Bret. The Undertaker has fought on all of the last 5 PPVs and as a result he has leap-frogged Hulk Hogan. Owen Hart and Jake Roberts also fly up the list leap-frogging Randy Savage who slips down to 8th. Tito Santana is the man on this list who hasn’t wrestled for the longest time, his last PPV match was at Royal Rumble 93 nearly 4 years ago. He keeps his spot on this list despite slipping down from 7th to 9th. Ted Dibiase keep their position at joint 10th but are now joined by Marty Jannetty who as one half of the New (and improved) Rockers. Marty has seemingly been around forever but this is his first time on this list. Nobody drops off the list.
Most PPV Matches
1. Bret Hart (51)
2. Shawn Michaels (45)
3. British Bulldog (35)
4. The Undertaker (32)
5. “Macho Man” Randy Savage (31)
6= Hulk Hogan (29)
6= Owen Hart/The Blue Blazer (29)
8= Jake “The Snake” Roberts (27)
8= Tito Santana (27)
10. “Million Dollar Man” Ted Dibiase (26)
You’ll notice that this list features a lot of the same guys as the previous list but not necessarily in the same order. It’s also very similar to the PPV matches list on the last Stat Pack. The top 2 stay the same with Shawn Michaels only 6 matches away from catching Bret. Hart has wrestled 51 matches on 60 PPVs, not a bad record at all. Bulldog leapfrogs Randy savage into third place, Bulldog is a man who has gone under the radar during his career, the only man in the top 6 not to have won the world heavyweight title. Undertaker jumps above both Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage to get into a top 4 spot whilst Owen Hart goes from 8 to 6th, going level with Hogan. Tito Santana drops to 8th and is joint with Jake Roberts who re-enters the list having not been on it since Stat Pack Volume 8. Ted Dibiase drops to 10th, just staying on the list but Razor Ramon drops off.
Highest Win Percentage (2 or more matches)
1= Mr T 100% (2 matches)
1= The Jumping Bomb Angels 100% (2 matches)
3. Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat 80% (10 matches)
4. The Ultimate Warrior 78.9% (19 matches)
5. Mankind 75% (4 matches)
6. Hulk Hogan 72.4% (29 matches)

7= Rick Steiner 66.6% (6 matches)
7= “Stone Cold” Steve Austin 66.6% (6 matches)
10. Tama 66.6% (3 matches)
Highest win percentage is a statistic any wrestler would be happy with. The top 4 stay the same for this one with the only difference being that Ultimate Warriors record has gone from 77.7% to 78.9% following wins over Goldust and Jerry “The King” Lawler. Mankind is the highest new entrant having won three of his four matches so far in the WWE. Hogan slips down to 6th, The Steiner Brothers both drop to joint 7th and Tama falls to 10th. Steve Austin is the other new entry having won 4 of his 6 PPV matches. Vader, The Undertaker and The Legion of Doom all drop off this list.
Most Wins
1. Bret Hart (27)
2. Hulk Hogan (21)
3= Shawn Michaels (19)
3= The Undertaker (19)
5= The British Bulldog (18)
5= “Macho Man” Randy Savage (18)
7= Owen Hart (15)
7= The Ultimate Warrior (15)
9. Razor Ramon (13)
10= Yokozuna (10)
10= Earthquake (10)
It’s amazing that after 60 pay per views it still only takes 10 wins to get on this list. What we have here is a top 11 with exactly the same guys as on the last stat pack. The top 2 stay exactly the same, no change there. In joint third now we have Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker who have dropped Randy Savage down to joint 5th with The British Bulldog. Ultimate Warrior keeps his place in 7th but now shares it with Owen Hart who leaps up from 9th. Razor Ramon drops from 8th to 9th whilst the two big men Earthquake and Yokozuna keep their position in joint 10th.
Most Draws
1= Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake (3)
1= Shawn Michaels (3)
3= Don Muraco (2)
3= British Bulldog (2)
3= Paul Orndorff (2)
3= Bad News Brown (2)
Finally there’s a change on this list as Shawn Michaels hope to joint first on it with Brutus Beefcake. That is a result of his match with British Bulldog at Beware Of Dog. Bulldog appears on this list for the first time in joint third. His other draw came in tag team action against The Fabulous Rougeaus back in 1988.
Most Losses
1= Shawn Michaels (23)
1= Bret Hart (23)
3. Tito Santana (22)
4= Jake “The Snake” Roberts (19)
4= Marty Jannetty (19)
4= Hercules (19)
7. Rick Martel (17)
8= “Million Dollar Man” Ted Dibiase (16)
8= Greg “The Hammer” Valentine (16)
10= British Bulldog (15)
10= Jacques Rougeau (15)
Shawn Michaels and British Bulldog are the only two men to feature on the most wins, draws and losses list. Michaels actually tops the list, joint with Bret Hart following his lost at International Incident. Hercules is now joint fourth with Jannetty and Roberts after those two men suffered losses on the last few PPVs. Rick Martel drops to 7th and Jacques Rougeau is joined in 10th place by The British Bulldog.
Highest Loss Percentage (minimum 2 matches)
1. Koko B. Ware 100% (11 matches)
2. Boris Zhukov 100% (7 matches)
3= Adam Bomb 100% (6 matches)
3= Skinner 100% (6 matches)
5= Ron Bass 100% (5 matches)
5= The Bezerker 100% (5 matches)
7= Ken Patera 100% (4 matches)
7= Leilani Kai 100% (4 matches)
7= Paul Diamond (Kato/Max Moon) 100% (4 matches)
This list once against stays exactly the same. None of these men have won a match on PPV, that’s not very good. Phineas Godwinn is currently the closest to getting on this list, he’s had 3 matches and lost them all, could he feature on this list next time around? We’ll find out in 5 PPVs time.
Most Main Events
1. Hulk Hogan (20)
2. Bret Hart (16)
3= Shawn Michaels (12)
3= Diesel (12)
5. “Macho Man” Randy Savage (10)
6. Yokozuna (9)
7. The Undertaker (8)
8= British Bulldog (7)
8= The Ultimate Warrior (7)
I’ve just made this a top 9 due to the amount of people who have main evented 4 PPVs that would sit in 10th. The top 2 on this list don’t change from last time but Shawn Michaels jumps from 6th to 3rd after main eventing the last 5 PPVs as World champion. As a result, Randy Savage, Yokozuna, Undertaker and Ultimate Warrior slip down a place but British Bulldog, who has had a good spell in the main event raises one place from 9th to 8th.

1= Jake Roberts vs. Andre The Giant – Wrestlemania V (2/10)
1= Demolition vs. Tenryu & Kitao – Wrestlemania VII (2/10)
1= Jake “The Snake” Roberts vs. Jerry “The King” Lawler – Summerslam 96 (2/10)
There are a couple of updates to these two lists. For best match, Shawn Michaels vs. Mankind is the highest new entry, going straight in at joint 5th. Their match at Mind Games was superb. The other new entry to that list is Mankind vs. Undertaker at King Of The Ring 96, another classic featuring Mick Foley. For the worst rated matches, the only new entry is Jake Roberts vs. Jerry Lawler. Although Lawler did a great job of building the match, the contest itself was disappointing and never really got out of the blocks.
Tag Teams With Highest Win Percentage (2 or more matches)
1. The Natural Disasters 100% (4 matches)
2. The Steiner Brothers 100% (3 matches)
3= Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff 100% (2 matches)
3= Men On A Mission 100% (2 matches)
3= Owen Hart & British Bulldog 100% (2 matches)
3= The Brain Busters 100% (2 matches)
7. The Legion Of Doom 83.3% (6 matches)
8. Owen Hart & Yokozuna 75% (4 matches)
9. The Nasty Boys 66.6% (3 matches)
10. Demolition 60% (5 matches)
This list is fairly similar to the list on the previous stat pack. Owen Hart and British Bulldog are the highest new entries, they go straight in at joint third having picked up their second win on pay per view. A win that bought them the tag team titles. Everyone below them drops down a position and it’s The Smoking Gunns that drop off the list as a result.
Tag Teams With Highest Loss Percentage (2 or more matches)
1. The Godwinns 100% (3 matches)
2= Strike Force 100% (2 matches)
2= The Blu Brothers 100% (2 matches)
2= The Bolsheviks 100% (2 matches)
5= Money Inc 66.6% (3 matches)
5= Power & Glory 66.6% (3 matches)
5= The Beverly Brothers 66.6% (3 matches)
5= The Dream Team 66.6% (3 matches)
9. The Orient Express 60% (5 matches)
10. The Fabulous Rougeaus 60% (5 matches)
There’s a new number one on this list and it’s The Godwinns. They lost to The Smoking Gunns on two PPVs which hasn’t helped their cause. Every other team falls down the list and on this one it’s The Rockers that fall of the list altogether.
Highest Average Match Rating (2 or more matches)
1. Mankind (7.18)
2. Ric Flair (7.14)
3. Hakushi (7.06)
4. Aldo Montoya (7)
5= Kama (6.75)
6= Kwang (6.75)
7. Dean Douglas (6.66)
8. Diesel (6.53)
9. Tony Atlas (6.5)
10. Shawn Michaels (6.42)
This is an interesting list. Clearly some of the wrestlers on it (Aldo Montoya, Kwang, Tony Atlas) have benefited from being in high scoring Royal Rumbles. Mankind is a new entrant and going straight in at number 1. And to be fair, he’s had some great matches against Shawn Michaels and Undertaker. Hakushi drops from 2nd to 3rd and I don’t mind him being there because he was a decent athlete too. The next 5 all stay on the list due to not having any more PPV matches then it’s Shawn Michaels who comes in at number 10. It makes you wonder why he’s so low, he’s put on some phenomenal matches.
Lowest Average Match Rating (2 or more matches)
1. Corporal Kirchner (2.5)
2. Adrian Adonis (2.85)
3= The Fabulous Moolah (3)
3= Velvet McIntyre (3)
5. Rockin’ Robin (3.5)
6. Judy Martin (3.58)
7. Tama (3.6)
8= Leilani Kai (3.75)
8= Billy Jack Haynes (3.75)
8= Nailz (3.75)
These ten stay exactly the same as they have done for the last few stat packs. A positive sign that match quality is improving.
Bastions Top Ten
1. Bret Hart (17786)
2. Hulk Hogan (15331)
3. Shawn Michaels (13402)
4. “Macho Man” Randy Savage (11988)
5. The Undertaker (11502)
6. British Bulldog (11075)
7. Owen Hart (9646)
8. Ultimate Warrior (9629)
9. Razor Ramon (8195)
10. Yokozuna (6536)
This list is a complex formula of win ratios, match ratings and main event matches and gives us essentially the top 10 wrestlers in WWF history up to this point. The top 2 stay the same as the list on the last stat pack but now Shawn Michaels is in third place leapfrogging Randy Savage. Owen Hart also jumps up the list going from 9th to 7th.
Top 10 Title Reigns
1. Diesel – 1st World Heavyweight Title Reign
2. Shawn Michaels – 1st World Heavyweight Title Reign
3. Hulk Hogan – 1st World Heavyweight Title Reign
4. Yokozuna – 2nd World Heavyweight Title Reign
5. Bret Hart – 3rd World Heavyweight Title Reign
6. Shawn Michaels – 1st Intercontinental Title Reign
7. Demolition – 1st Tag Team Title Reign
8. Alundra Blayze – 1st Womens Title Reign
9. Razor Ramon – 1st Intercontinental Title Reign
10. Owen Hart & Yokozuna – 1st Tag Team Title Reign
Just the one new entry to this list and it’s Shawn Michaels who is currently enjoying an amazing run as World Heavyweight champion. So good in fact that after defeating Diesel, British Bulldog, Vader and Mankind, he goes straight in at number 2. Everyone else stays on the list except for Bret Hart, who’s second World title reign isn’t good enough to stay in the top 10. Shawn Michaels and Yokozuna are the only two men to appear on the list twice.
Most Matches Managed
1. Jimmy Hart (64)
2. Mr Fuji (40)
3. Bobby Heenan (37)
4. Jim Cornette (27)
5. Paul Bearer (26)
6. Slick (23)
7. “Million Dollar Man” Ted Dibiase (21)
8. Miss Elizabeth (18)
9. Harvey Wippleman (13)
10. Sensational Sherri (12)
There’s a massive gulf between first and tenth place on this list. The top 3 stay the same on this list with Jimmy Hart probably never to be caught. Jim Cornette and Paul Bearer both leapfrog Slick whilst the bottom 4 all keep their position.
Highest Manager Success Rate (2 or more matches)
1. Jose Lothario 85.7 (7 matches)
2. Miss Elizabeth 77.7% (18 matches)
3. Paul Bearer 73% (26 matches)
4. Diesel 66.6% (3 matches)
5. Sensational Sherri 50% (12 matches)
6. Frenchy Martin 50% (6 matches)
7= “Superstar” Billy Graham 50% (2 matches)
7= Clarence Mason 50% (2 matches)
7= Fabulous Moolah 50% (2 matches)
7= “Classy” Freddie Blassie 50% (2 matches)
7= Mr Perfect 50% (2 matches)
A familiar looking top ten in this one. Paul Bearer rises from third to second and there’s one new entry in Clarence Mason who has managed 50% of winners. Amazing that a 50% win ratio gets you on this list.
Highest Managerial Loss Percentage (2 or more matches)
1. Luna 100% (5 matches)
2. Hillbilly Jim 100% (4 matches)
3= Diana Smith 200% (3 matches)
3= Uncle Zeb 100% (3 matches)
5= “Cowboy” Bob Orton 100% (2 matches)
5= Kim Chee 100% (2 matches)
5= Oliver Humperdink 100% (2 matches)
8. Harvey Wippleman 84.6% (13 matches)
9= General Adnan 80% (5 matches)
9= Sable 80% (5 matches)
This list looks quite a lot different to the previous stat pack. Luna keeps her position on top but now in second is Hillbilly Jim after he managed The Godwinns to consecutive losses. Diana Smith and Uncle Zeb are joint third, neither of those have managed to wins yet. Sable is a new entry having managed Hunter Hearst Helmsley and Marc Mero to losses. The likes of Sunny, Afa, Johnny Polo, The Roadie and Marlena fall off this list.
