Welcome everybody to my 30th WWE Stat Pack! I have been watching every WWF PPV from the very beginning, back from Wrestlemania 1 and reviewing each and every show. Every 5 PPVs I have put together and updated a stat pack which records all the major stats, facts and figures from the big shows. Within this Stat Pack you’ll see all the PPVs ranked as well as which wrestlers have fought the most matches, who has the most wins and losses, all matches rated and who has the best average match rating as well as figures on the tag teams, managers and much more. This Stat Pack covers from the original Wrestlemania through to Backlash 2003,  a whopping 150 PPVs.

The last Stat Pack I posted was just after Survivor Series 2002 and since then there have been some big changes to the top championships. The Big Show lost his WWE title to Kurt Angle at Armageddon before Angle lost it to the winner of the 2003 Royal Rumble match, Brock Lesnar. Shawn Michaels, who won the World Heavyweight Championship at Survivor Series lost his belt back to Triple H who still holds the title now. Billy Kidman lost his Cruiserweight Championship to Matt Hardy who still holds the belt now and the Women’s title has gone from Victoria to Trish Stratus to Jazz. Los Guerrero’s lost their WWE Tag Team titles to the rookie Team Angle and the World Tag Team titles have gone from Chris Jericho and Christian to Booker T & Goldust to Lance Storm & William Regal to The Dudley Boyz and now the belts are held by Rob Van Dam and Kane. 2002 was a great year overall and would’ve been the best year in terms of average PPV rating if not for Armageddon which dropped it just below 2001. The 56.78/100 for Armageddon put it on the all time list at 82nd out of 150. 2003 has started ok, putting it 4th on the yearly list. Wrestlemania 19 is the highest new entry, going in at 6th, higher than the ever popular Wrestlemania 17. Royal Rumble 2003 goes in at joint 37th, Backlash 2003 is at 71st and No Way Out 2003 joint 75th.

There have been 150 WWE PPVs up to now and The Undertaker has wrestled on nearly two thirds of them. He leads the way but Triple H has caught him up by 2 PPVs since the last Stat Pack. The Rock goes level with Austin in third following his comeback. With Billy Gunn getting injured, Kane has jumped above him, as has Shawn Michaels who jumps up from 8th to 6th. Billy Gunn drops two places to 7th and Bret drops one place to 8th. British Bulldog and Owen Hart keep their place in joint 9th but are now joined by Edge who could have gone higher had he not got injured before Wrestlemania.

Torrie Wilson moves up from joint 9th to 8th following her victory over Dawn Marie at Royal Rumble 2003. Ricky Steamboat and Jamie Noble both drop a place as a result. Ultimate Warrior is still in 11th but Brock Lesnar is a re-entry in at 12th following five victories on the last five pay per views. Sable, Tiger Ali Singh and The Fabulous Moolah make up the list with their 75% records. As a result of Brock Lesnar re-entering the list, The Steiner Brothers, Steven Richards and Rhyno all drop off this list.

The Undertaker leads the way of course but Triple H has gained on him by two wins, separating himself from Steve Austin in the process. Austin stays in third but The Rock leapfrogs Bret Hart into fifth after wins over Hulk Hogan and Stone Cold himself. Billy Gunn clings on to his spot in 6th but the remaining four men on the list are joint on 27 wins as Shawn Michaels and Kurt Angle have now caught up with The British Bulldog and Owen Hart.

Sean Waltman drops a place to 7th whilst Goldust rises a place to join him. There are no changes to the lowest rated matches but there are a few new additions to the highest rated matches. Shawn Michaels and Chris Jericho’s match at Wrestlemania 19 is the highest new entry, going in at joint 6th. The other new entry is Kurt Angle and Chris Benoits match at Royal Rumble 2003 which is in at joint 12th. Both very memorable matches. All four men involved in those two matches are some of the best wrestlers of all time.

Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin were successful in retaining their WWE Tag Team Championships against Los Guerrero and Chris Benoit and Rhyno at Wrestlemania 19 and then beat Los Guerrero’s again at Backlash 2003. That put them in joint third with a 100% record and as a result knows the New Age Outlaws off the list.

There are some surprising changes to this list. This list is made up of a formula of matches wrestled, won, average match ratings, main events and win percentage. It creates a top 10 of the best of all time. Undertaker leads the way and is still flanked by Steve Austin. The top 8 actually are still exactly the same and in the same order. The two changes come at the bottom where Chris Jericho and Hulk Hogan come in at the expense of The British Bulldog and Billy Gunn. If I were to do this list up to 20 then the rest of the order would be: Kane, The British Bulldog, Billy Gunn, Edge, Mick Foley, Sean Waltman, The Road Dogg, Christian, Macho Man Randy Savage and Bubba Ray Dudley. So exactly the same top 20 as on the last Stat Pack.

This list applies the same formula but just for the female superstars of the WWE. There aren’t too many changes but as you can see Trish Stratus hasn’t caught Chyna yet but does get ever closer. Sable and Ivory don’t move in 3rd and 4th but Torrie Wilson does get a little closer to them in 5th. Jazz hops above Lita into 6th and Victoria is a new entry in 8th. This drops Molly Holly, Alundra Blayze and Nicole Bass down a place. With every women from 2nd to 9th still on the active roster, it means there could be plenty of changes going forward.
