30 PPVs reviewed and here we go with another stat pack. In this one you’ll find all the key stats from the original Wrestlemania pay per view all the way through to Survivor Series 92. Nearly 8 years of facts and figures in one place. Win/Loss percentages for wrestlers, tag teams and managers as well as facts about who’s had the most matches, best title reigns and highest quality of matches and much much more can be found in this, stat pack volume 6.

So what’s gone down since the last stat pack? Well Hulk Hogan is no longer WWF Champion. He’s barely around anymore and instead the main event scene has been dominated by the likes of Ric Flair, Randy Savage and Bret Hart. All of which have held the top title since the last stat pack. Bret Hart lost his Intercontinental champion to The Mountie who lost it to Roddy Piper who lost it back to Bret Hart. Hart would lose it again, this time to The British Bulldog who had a short reign before Shawn Michaels took it away from him. Since the last stat pack The Legion Of Doom have lost the tag titles and after reigns from Money Inc and The Natural Disasters, Money Inc are current champions once more.

Also since the last stat pack we’ve waved goodbye to the likes of Sid, The Warlord, The Barbarian, Haku, Greg Valentine, Colonel Mustafa, Sgt Slaughter, The Mountie, British Bulldog, Roddy Piper, The Texas Tornado and Hercules and we’ve welcomed Owen Hart, Nailz, Kamala, Yokozuna and The Headshrinkers. We now have a much smaller roster both in amount and size of wrestlers.

Well 1992 has made quite the impact to the rankings. It goes straight into the top of the yearly rankings, which is an average rating of all the pay per views. This is mostly down to Survivor Series 92 being the second best PPV so far, and both Royal Rumble 92 and Wrestlemania VIII in the top 5. Quite some feat. Summerslam 92 also ranked in the top 10 whilst UK Rampage was lower down. Survivor Series was generally a solid pay per view from top to bottom with both main events delivering. The Royal Rumble match earlier in the year was arguably the best ever whilst at Wrestlemania Savage/Flair, and Hart/Piper were all time classics.

Hulk Hogan still leads the line on this list having wrestled on 25 of the 30 PPVs reviewed so far. He’s definitely winding his career down now so I expect him to fall down the list sooner rather than later. Most of this list is similar to the last stat pack. Bret Hart and Tito Santana swap places whilst Randy Savage goes from joint 8th to joint 4th. Shawn Michaels enters the top 10 for the first time as does Barry Darsow who has gone from playing Smash to The Repo Man. The only person to drop out of the top ten is Greg “The Hammer” Valentine who’s Royal Rumble appearance wasn’t enough to maintain his position.

Just a top 9 for this list as it was that or a top 13. I like to post as close to 10 as possible. Randy Savage jumps up from joint 3rd to top of the list after he wrestled on every PPV in 1992. Hogan and Santana drop down having only fought at Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania. Once again Bret Hart overtakes Hercules whilst Ted Dibiase keeps his position in 6th. Jake Roberts slips down to 7 whilst The Mountie rises from 10th to 8th and Shawn Michaels appears on this list for the first time. Jim Neidhart and Greg Valentine are the casualties having only wrestled on one pay per view each this year and they both fall off the list as a result.

An interesting list which only features one heel (Tama). The rest are babyfaces and not too much has changed. Newcomes Tatanka goes straight to the top of the list after victories over Rick Martel (twice), Skinner and The Bezerker, Mr T, Jumping Bomb Angels, Steamboat, Hogan and Warrior are in exactly the same order as last time but this time we have Owen Hart replace Ric Flair at the 66% mark. Randy Savage is on exactly the same percentage as the last list at 63% whilst LOD rising up from 57% to 60% is enough ti put them in the top 10. Virgil, Jerry Saggs and Ric Flair all drop out of the top 10 following years where they lost more matches on pay per view than they won.

It’s amazing that after 30 PPV’s, it still only takes 8 wins to get onto this list. Which is 2 more than the last list. The top 4 stay the same with Hogans one win since the last stat pack enough to keep him on top. Savage’s 3 wins move him closer to Hulk but not quite in touching distance. Warrior stays in third and Bulldog in fourth but after a spectacular year for Bret Hart, The Hitman moves up from 7th to 4th. 2 wins for Jim Duggan move him up a place to 6th whilst 3 wins for Earthquake move him up from 9th to joint 6th. With Ricky Steamboat and Ted Dibiase racking up no wins in 1992 they drop down from joint 4th to joint 8th whilst The Big Boss Man moves up a place from joint 9th to joint 8th.

The draws list stays much the same as there weren’t many draws in 1992. In fact, I can think of one, a match between Rick Martel and Shawn Michaels. The top half of this list stays much the same as last time. Tito Santana keeps his position at the top of the list with 21 losses from 30 pay per views. Hercules may only have wrestled on one show and lost on it but it’s enough to keep him in second. Shawn Michaels jumps up from joint 5th to 3rd which allows Bret Hart and Greg Valentine to fall down to 4th. Jake Roberts goes up from 5th to 4th whilst Jacques Rougeau goes from 9th to 7th. There are a couple of new additions to the list with Bill Eadie and Rick Martel not winning a match between them in 1992. Interestingly, most of this list is made up of guys who played heel characters for most of their time. Most of this list are still employed by the WWF following the most recently reviewed pay per view.

Unsupringly this list continues to be full of wrestlers with 100% loss records. Ten guys who have all wrestled between 3 and 10 matches and lost them all. Koko B. Ware stays at the top of the list having lost all 10 matches he’s been in. Crush is the only man to have fell off this list having won a match against Repo Man. Skinner climbs up to joint third having lost to the likes of Owen Hart and Tatanka. The Bezerker also climbs to joint 5th having lost to the likes of Tatanka and The British Bulldog. It’s not the list the superstars will want to be on but a lot of them are stuck on it now having left the WWF.

Not too much has changed on this list. Randy Savage has pulled away from Ultimate Warrior to claim 2nd as his own spot. Shawn Michaels is the only new addition having been in WWF title matches against Randy Savage and Bret Hart during 1992. There are a few others, including Hart, on the cusp of this list but they’ll need another main event match to get on it. This is the first year that Hulk Hogan hasn’t dominated the main event scene with only one main event to hi name during 1992. Despite holding the WWF championship, Undertaker and Ric Flair are still yet to appear on this list.

There are three new additions to this list following 1992. The 92 Royal Rumble match, the only Rumble in history to have the World title on the line goes straight in at joint second It was entertaining from start to finish and with a star studded cast  Ric Flair would be the eventual winner. The re-match between Savage and Warrior goes in at number four and shows just how much chemistry they had to have both matches in the top 4. Bret Hart is also proving to be quite the hand in the ring and his match with Roddy Piper at Wrestlemania was every bit as good as his match with Mr Perfect at Summerslam 91. There are three Royal Rumble matches in the top 10 which just goes to show how much of a mark I am for the ultimate multi-man match.

As match quality improves in the WWF, there are less and less changes to this list. This one is exactly the same as the list in the last stat pack except I.R.S is off the list and Nailz is on. Nailz has been pretty sloppy since debuting in the WWF and his matches with Virgil and The Big Boss Man have been pretty disappointing despite his promos being good. Five of the ten on this list are females.

To determine this list is a complex formula that takes into consideration matches had, matches won, match quality and main events.The top three stay the same with Hogan, Savage and Warrior leading the way. Bret Hart jumps up the list from 7th to 4th whilst The British Bulldog follows him up from 6th to 5th. Earthquake is another guy who climbs the list and he goes from 10th to 6th. Ted Dibiase and Ricky Steamboat are two casualties and they fell from 4th and 5th place respectively. Jim Duggan keeps his place in 8th whilst The Big Boss Man appears on the list for the first time.

There are a few changes to this list following some decent title reigns in 1992. The Legion Of Dooms tag title reign is the highest riser, going straight in at number 3. They defended their titles against the likes of Power and Glory and The Natural Disasters. Randy Savages second World title reign was a successful one and he had successful defences against the likes of Ultimate Warrior and Shawn Michaels. Bret Harts second IC reign and The Natural Disasters tag team title reign also appear on this list.
