3. 1992 (52.8)
4. 1995 (52.37)
5. 1993 (51.5)

9. 1987 (47)
10. 1988 (46)
11. 1985 (40.5)
12. 1986 (39.5)

Five big new entries to the PPV list with Royal Rumble 96 going straight in at #1 due to the World title match between Bret Hart and The Undertaker and the Royal Rumble match itself where Shawn Michaels won the big one for the second year in a row. Wrestlemania XII goes in at number 2 and featured some epic contests, most notably between Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart. There’s a pattern emerging. IN Your Houses’s 6 & 7 came in just outside the top ten at numbers 11 & 12 whilst In Your House 5 was the most disappointing from the new batch ranking at #38. That PPV also bought down the overall ranking of 1995 whilst the other 4 shows have put 1996 as the top year but there are still 8 shows to go.

Most PPVs Wrestled On

1. Bret Hart (45)
2. Shawn Michaels (39)
3. British Bulldog (29)
4. Hulk Hogan (27)
5. The Undertaker (26)
6. “Macho Man” Randy Savage (25)
7= Tito Santana (24)
7= Owen Hart/The Blue Blazer (24)
7= Jake “The Snake” Roberts (24)
10= “Million Dollar Man” Ted Dibiase (23)
10= Razor Ramon (23)

This list looks quite different to the same one on the last Stat Pack. The top two are the same with Bret Hart followed by Shawn Michaels with six PPVs between them. British Bulldog has leap-frogged Hulk Hogan and andy Savage, going from 5th to 3rd. As a result, Hogan drops to 4th and Savage drops to 6th whilst The Undertaker jumps from 7th to 5th. Tito Santana drops from 5th to 7th, it’s been over 3 years since we last saw him, the longest for anyone on this list. Owen Hart is the highest new entrant both as himself and under the hood of the Blue Blazer. He comes in at joint 7th with Jake Roberts who rises up from tenth following his return to the company. Ted Dibiase continues to drop down the list, plummeting from 7th to 10 and we have a new entrant in Razor Ramon. Razor is the newest guy to debut of anyone on this list, he debuted at Survivor Series 92. We lose Jacques Rougeau, Rick Martel and Hercules from this list.

Most Pay Per View Matches

1. Bret Hart (51)
2. Shawn Michaels (42)
3. “Macho Man” Randy Savage (31)
4. British Bulldog (30)
5. Hulk Hogan (29)
6= The Undertaker (27)
6= Tito Santana (27)
8= Owen Hart/The Blue Blazer (26)
8= “Million Dollar Man” Ted Dibiase (26)
10. Razor Ramon (25)

This list features 10 of the same guys who were on the previous list of most PPV appearences. Only Jake Roberts doesn’t feature. Shawn Michaels has closed the gap slightly on Bret Hart at the top, he’s still 9 behind though. Randy Savage keeps his spot in third for now despite not having a PPV match in over two years. British Bulldog jumps up from 7th to 4th after featuring on the last 5 PPVs meaning Hulk Hogan and Tito Santana fall down a spot. Undertaker joins Tito at joint 6th which is two spots higher for him. Owen Hart/Blue Blazer is the highest new entry at joint 8th with Ted Dibiase who has fallen down two spots. Razor Ramon is the final new entry and he makes the list at the expense of Hercules & Jacques Rougeau.

Highest Win Percentage (2 or more matches)

1= Mr T 100% (2 matches)
1= The Jumping Bomb Angels 100% (2 matches)
3. Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat 80% (10 matches)
4. The Ultimate Warrior 77.7% (18 matches)
5. Hulk Hogan 72% (29 matches)
6. The Steiner Brothers 66.6% (6 matches)
7= Tama 66.6% (3 matches)
7= Vader 66.6% (3 matches)
9. The Undertaker 63% (27 matches)
10. The Legion Of Doom 60% (10 matches)

This list looks quite different to the one in Stat Pack Volume 10. Mr T and the Jumping Bomb Angels keeps their spot at the time whilst Goldust slips all the way off the list after losses to the likes of Roddy Piper and The Ultimate Warrior. Ricky Steamboat, Ultimate Warrior and Hulk Hogan all rise as place as a result of Goldust dropping off. Savio Vega is another man who drops off the list and because of that The Steiner Brothers rise a place to sixth. Hunter Hearst Helmsley also falls off the list so Tama goes up to 7th alongside the highest new entrant Vader. The Undertaker comes in at ninth and The Legion Of Doom are in tenth.

Most Wins

1. Bret Hart (27)
2. Hulk Hogan (21)
3. “Macho Man” Randy Savage (18)
4. The Undertaker (17)
5= British Bulldog (16)
5= Shawn Michaels (16)
7. The Ultimate Warrior (14)
8. Razor Ramon (13)
9. Owen Hart (12)
10= Earthquake (10)
10= Yokozuna (10)

It now takes 10 wins to get on this list as opposed to 9. The top 4 are exactly the same as the last Stat Pack however now Undertaker has the 4th spot to himself as opposed to sharing it. 5th place is now shared between The British Bulldog who has fallen a place and Shawn Michaels who has risen a place. Ultimate Warrior keeps his place in the top 7 and Razor Ramon stays in 8th. Owen Hart rises one position to 9th after 3 wins on the last 5 PPVs whilst Earthquake drops a place to 10th alongside Yokozuna. There are no new entries to this list but Ted Dibiase and Jim Duggan who both have won 9 PPV matches drop off. Amazing to think Bret Hart has won a match on 50% of the PPVs in WWF history to this point.

Most Draws

1. Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake (3)
2= Shawn Michaels (2)
2= Bad News Brown (2)
2= Paul Orndorff (2)
2= Don Muraco (2)

This list hasn’t actually changed since Stat Pack Volume 9. More draws are needed! Only 5 guys have drawn 2 or more matches to this point.

Most Losses

1. Bret Hart (23)
2= Shawn Michaels (22)
2= Tito Santana (22)
4. Hercules (19)
5. Marty Jannetty (18)
6= Jake “The Snake” Roberts (17)
6= Rick Martel (17)
8= “Million Dollar Man” Ted Dibiase (16)
8= Greg “The Hammer” Valentine (16)
10. Jacques Rougeau (15)

Everybody on this list has lost matches on at least 1 in 4 PPVs. The top 10 are the same as the last Stat Pack with some minor re-ordering. 2 losses for Bret Hart in the last 5 PPVs mean he leapfrogs Santana and Michaels to the top of this list. Shawn and Tito have to settle for joint second. Hercules stays 4th and Jannetty 5th. Martel falls to 6th, joint with Jake Roberts who has lost all three of his PPV matches since returning. Dibiase, Valentine and Rougeau all drop down a place because of Roberts leapfrogging them. Barry Darsow and Mike Rotunda fall off the list. They didn’t lose enough.

Highest Loss Percentage (minimum 2 matches)

1. Koko B. Ware 100% (11 matches)
2. Boris Zhukov 100% (7 matches)
3= Adam Bomb 100% (6 matches)
3= Skinner 100% (6 matches)
5= Ron Bass 100% (5 matches)
5= The Bezerker 100% (5 matches)
7= Ken Patera 100% (4 matches)
7= Leilani Kai 100% (4 matches)
7= Paul Diamond (Kato/Max Moon) 100% (4 matches)

No changes to this list since the last Stat Pack. Koko B Ware still sits atop with 11 PPV losses from 11. The likes of Isaac Yankem and Duke Droese aren’t far off the top 10 though so watch this space.

Most Main Events

1. Hulk Hogan (20)
2. Bret Hart (16)
3. Diesel (12)
4. “Macho Man” Randy Savage (10)
5. Yokozuna (9)
6= Shawn Michaels (7)
6= The Undertaker (7)
6= The Ultimate Warrior (7)
9= Andre The Giant (4)
9= Bam Bam Bigelow (4)
9= Sgt Slaughter (4)
9= “Million Dollar Man” Ted Dibiase (4)
9= British Bulldog (4)

A top 12 on the last Stat Pack goes up to a top 13 on this one. The top 2 on this one stay the same with Bret Hart closing down Hulk Hogan. Diesel’s two main events against Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels recently allow him to slip into third place leaving Savage in fourth. The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels join Ultimate Warrior in sixth place and The British Bulldog is the only new entry, he slot in at joint 9th. Nobody drops off this list, it still only takes 4 main events from 55 PPVs to get on this one.

Lowest Rated Matches

1= Paul Orndorff vs. Tito Santana – Wrestling Classic (2/10)
1= Fabulous Moolah vs. Velvet McIntyre – Wrestlemania II (2/10)
1= Uncle Elmer vs. Adrian Adonis – Wrestlemania II (2/10)
1= Corporal Kirchner vs. Nikolai Volkoff – Wrestlemania II (2/10)
1= Tony Garea vs. Ted Arcidi – The Big Event (2/10)
1= Haku vs. Don Muraco – The Big Event (2/10)
1= Adrian Adonis vs. Junkyard Dog – The Big Event (2/10)
1= Jake Roberts vs. Andre The Giant – Wrestlemania V (2/10)
1= Demolition vs. Tenryu & Kitao – Wrestlemania VII (2/10)

We now get a top 15 on the best matches list. New additions include the 1996 Royal Rumble match where Shawn Michaels won the big one for a second year in a row and Shawn Michaels battle with Diesel at In Your House 7: Good Friends, Better Enemies. Both great matches. The lowest rated matches list doesn’t change although Goldust’s match with Ultimate Warrior at In Your House 7 was so bad that it’s lucky I didn’t class it as an actual match. I still love the drama behind Ultimate Warrior and Randy Savage at Wrestlemania VII, a true classic on so many levels.

Tag Teams With Highest Win Percentage (minimum 2 matches)

1. The Natural Disasters 100% (4 matches)
2. The Steiner Brothers 100% (3 matches)
3= The Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff 100% (2 matches)
3= Men On A Mission 100% (2 matches)
3= The Brain Busters 100% (2 matches)
6. The Legion Of Doom 83.3% (6 matches)
7. Owen Hart & Yokozuna 75% (4 matches)
8. The Nasty Boys 66.6% (3 matches)
9= Demolition 60% (5 matches)
9= The Smoking Gunns 60% (5 matches)

No great shakes on this list, just the British Bulldogs are replaced by The Smoking Gunns. Billy and Bart picked up a big win  over The Bodydonnas to get them on this list. The rest of the top ten stay the same. As I left it The Godwinns were the tag team champions so maybe they’ll appear on this list before long.

Tag Teams With Highest Loss Percentage

1= Strike Force 100% (2 matches)
1= The Blu Brothers 100% (2 matches)
1= The Bolsheviks 100% (2 matches)
4= Money Inc 66% (3 matches)
4= The Dream Team 66% (3 matches)
4= Power & Glory 66% (3 matches)
4= The Beverly Brothers 66% (3 matches)
8. The Orient Express 60% (5 matches)
9. The Fabulous Rougeaus 60% (5 matches)
10. The Rockers 57% (7 matches)

This list stays exactly the same as before. 57% needed to get on this one. There’s clearly a lack of tag team matches these days hence none of these teams have been seen since 1993 (barring The Blu Brothers).

Highest Average Match Rating (2 or more matches)

1. Ric Flair (7.14)
2. Hakushi (7.06)
3. Aldo Montoya (7)
4= Kama (6.75)
4= Kwang (6.75)
6. Dean Douglas (6.66)
7. Diesel (6.53)
8. Tony Atlas/Saba Simba (6.5)
9= Terry Taylor/The Red Rooster (6.375)
9= Steve Austin (6.375)
9= Sione (6.375)

It’s amazing how participating in Royal Rumbles will get the average rating up. That is certainly the case for a lot of these guys. The top 4 is pretty much the same with the addition of Kama joint with Kwang. Sid and Hulk Hogan drop off the list and are replaced by Steve Austin and Aldo Montoya. Montoya is in the top 3 because of his Royal Rumble appearances.

Lowest Average Match Rating (2 or more matches)

1. Corporal Kirchner (2.5)
2. Adrian Adonis (2.85)
3= The Fabulous Moolah (3)
3= Velvet McIntyre (3)
5. Rockin’ Robin (3.5)
6. Judy Martin (3.58)
7. Tama (3.6)
8= Leilani Kai (3.75)
8= Billy Jack Haynes (3.75)
8= Nailz (3.75)

Another list that doesn’t change is this one. Corporal Kirchner down to Nailz, these are all the worst offenders when it comes to decent matches. The list is made up of 5 blokes and 5 women. Match quality has got a lot better though so there are no more additions.

Bastions Top 10

1. Bret Hart (17786)
2. Hulk Hogan (15331)
3. “Macho Man” Randy Savage (11988)
4. Shawn Michaels (10870)
5. The Undertaker (9924)
6. British Bulldog (9533)
7. The Ultimate Warrior (9286)
8. Razor Ramon (8195)
9. Owen Hart (7686)
10. Yokozuna (6614)

Bastions Top 10 is made up of a formula based around win percentage, main events and match quality. The top 3 stay the same but in fourth is Shawn Michaels, current World champion who jumps up from seventh. Undertaker keeps his fifth spot and British Bulldog drops to sixth. Owen Hart leapfrogs Yokozuna and as a result Earthquake falls off.

Top 10 title Reigns

1. Diesel – 1st World Heavyweight Title Reign
2. Hulk Hogan – 1st World Heavyweight Title Reign
3. Yokozuna – 2nd World Heavyweight Title Reign
4. Bret Hart – 3rd World Heavyweight Title Reign
5. Shawn Michaels – 1st Intercontinental Title Reign
6. Demolition – 1st Tag Team Title Reign
7. Alundra Blayze – 1st Women’s Title Reign
8. Razor Ramon – 1st Intercontinental Title Reign
9. Owen Hart & Yokozuna – 1st Tag Team Title Reign
10. Bret Hart – 1st World Heavyweight Title Reign

Only one major change to this list and that’s Bret Hart’s 3rd World Heavyweight title reign going in at number 4. He defended it against the likes of British Bulldog, Undertaker and Diesel before losing it to Shawn Michaels. Shawn Michaels 3rd Intercontinental title reign drops off the list as a result.

Most Matches Managed

1. Jimmy Hart (64)
2. Mr Fuji (40)
3. Bobby Heenan (37)
4. Slick (23)
5. Jim Cornette (22)
6. Paul Bearer (21)
7. “Million Dollar Man” Ted Dibiase (20)
8. Miss Elizabeth (18)
9. Harvey Wippleman (13)
10. Sensational Sherri (12)

The top 4 on this list have stayed the same. Mr Fuji is the only one of those still going but he has a long way to go to reach Jimmy Hart. Jim Cornette, Paul Bearer and Ted Dibiase leapfrog Miss Elizabeth as they are three current managers. Managers are definitely a dying art though so I’m not sure anyone will ever catch Jimmy Hart.

Highest Manager Success Rate

1. Jose Lothario 100% (2 matches)
2. Paul Bearer 81% (21 matches)
3. Miss Elizabeth 77.7% (18 matches)
4. Diesel 66.6% (3 matches)
5. Sensational Sherri 50% (12 matches)
6. Frenchy Martin 50% (6 matches)
7= “Superstar” Billy Graham 50% (2 matches)
7= The Fabulous Moolah 50% (2 matches)
7= “Classy” Freddie Blassie 50% (2 matches)
7= Mr Perfect 50% (2 matches)

Jose Lothario goes straight in at the top of this list having managed Shawn Michaels not only to the WWF title but also to his first defence against Diesel. Paul Bearer drops to second place despite having a better record than the last list. Miss Elizabeth drops down from joint first to third and Mo drops off the list completely. Everything else is as before.

Highest Manager Loss Percentage

1. Luna 100% (5 matches)
2= Cowboy Bob Orton 100% (2 matches)
2= Kim Chee 100% (2 matches)
2= Oliver Humperdink 100% (2 matches)
2= Uncle Zeb 100% (2 matches)
6. Harvey Wippleman 84% (13 matches)
7. General Adnan 80% (5 matches)
8. Sunny 75% (4 matches)
9. Afa 70% (10 matches)
10= Johnny Polo 66.6% (3 matches)
10= The Roadie 66.6% (3 matches)
10= Marlena 66.6% (3 matches)

Luna stays top of this list by quite a way. She’s vanished for the time being but that’s probably for the best. Sunny’s clients The Bodydonnas actually picked up a win so her loss record goes from 100% to 75%. Marlena is the only new entry she’s managed Goldust to two loses from three.
