Welcome everybody to Stat Pack Volume 13! This covers all the top stats, facts and records from the first 65 WWF PPVs. That takes us from the very first Wrestlemania all the way through to In Your House: Final 4, one month before Wrestlemania 13. I present these every 5 WWF PPVs to keep you updated on all the big lists to show you who has risen up the ladder and who has fallen. Expect to see which PPVs I rank the highest and lowest, most matches, most wins, best tag teams and much much more. Since the last Stat Pack Shawn Michaels has lost the WWF title to Sid then won it back only to vacate it and Bret Hart to win the vacant belt. Also Marc Mero won the Intercontinental title before losing it to Hunter Hearst Helmsley who in turn lost it to Rocky Maivia not long after he debuted. British Bulldog and Owen Hart still hold the tag team titles. So lets get to the stat pack.

65 PPVs have now been reviewed and that there is everyone ranked by my reviews. There are five new additions since the last stat pack and most notably is In Your House: Buried Alive which sits at the very top. It can’t be knocked as an event really, there were 5 top quality matches without any crap. It was decent from start to finish which is very rare these days. You’ll also see Survivor Series 96 and In Your House: It’s Time in the top ten. The other two PPVs which were both in 1997, In Your House: Final Four and Royal Rumble 1997 are further down in the list in the 30’s. As a result, 1996 becomes the best year for PPVs whilst 1997 is a little further down the list but there are plenty more shows to review in 1997.

Well this list looks very familiar to the last one. The top four stay exactly the same with Bret Hart just having the edge on Michaels. Owen Hart jumps up from 6th to 5th after appearing on all five of the last PPVs. Hulk Hogan is the man to give way, he falls down from 5th to 7th as he hasn’t been in PPV action since June 1993. Savage keeps his 8th place whilst Tito Santana shares the 9th spot with Marty Jannetty who has risen one place. As a result Ted Dibiase and Razor Ramon drop off the list. Interestingly Hulk Hogan and Tito Santana have been on this list since the very first Stat Pack.

This list features exactly the same ten guys as on the last stat pack. It’s similar to the last list on this stat pack but obviously some have more matches per show than others. The top 4 on this stay the same as the last stat pack with the first change once again coming with Owen Hart going from 6th to 5th. As a result Savage falls to 6th whilst Hogan goes down to 7th, joint with Jake Roberts who is still going strong. Tito falls down to 9th whilst Ted Dibiase still occupies the 10th spot. Savage, Hogan and Santana have all been on this list since the first Stat Pack. It’s quite a new roster in the WWF at the moment so don’t expect too many major changes in the near future.

Interestingly on this list there are three tag teams and only two heels. The list is mostly babyfaces and we have a newcomer in joint first in Doug Furnas and Phil Lafon who have won both of their matches so far. As a result Ricky Steamboat and Ultimate Warrior drop a place to 5th and 6th respectively. Mankind drops off the list altogether after a pretty bad run so Hogan and The Steiner keep their positions. Rocky Maivia is a new entrant in the 8th spot following two big wins from his first three matches. Steve Austin falls from 8th to 10th and Tama does the opposite, going from 10th to 8th. The LEgion Of Doom re-enter the list, joint with Austin.

It blows my mind that after 65 PPVs it still only takes 10 wins to get on this list. Bret Hart keeps his spot at the top of this list but now in second is The Undertaker who has risen from third. Hogan drops to second. Michaels drops from 3rd to 4th and is joint with Bulldog who has risen from 5th. Savage drops to 6th from 5th whilst Owen Hart stays in 7th and Ultimate Warrior drops a position to 8th. Razor, Yokozuna and Earthquake keeps the spots that they had on the last stat pack. Stat Pack Vol 10 was the last one to feature somebody different on this list.

Bret Hart takes his spot back at the top of this list with 25 losses from 65 PPVs. Michaels drops down to second and Tito stays in third. Jake Roberts stays in 4th place whilst Jannetty will be glad to drop to 5th. Hercules falls two places to 6th. Bulldog rises from 10th to 7th whilst Rick Martel falls to 8th, joint with Greg Valentine. Owen Hart/The Blue Blazer is a new addition to this list and he comes in at joint 8th.

For this list I give you a top 11 which includes a couple of new entries. For the most part it is the same as the last stat pack but you’ll notice in joint 5th is Phineas Godwinn who has now wrestled five PPV matches and lost them all, most recently a Survivor Series match and The 1997 Royal Rumble. The other new entry is Leif Cassidy who is in joint 8th having recently lost on In Your House openers to Flash Funk and Marc Mero. The rest stays the same.

A top 10 for this one without too much movement. Bret Hart edges ever closer to Hulk Hogan at the top. Can he overtake the Real American? Shawn Michaels keeps his third spot as Diesel slips down to 4th. The Undertaker leapfrogs from 7th up to joint 5th which means Yokozuna falls down a spot. Bulldog and Warrior keeps their positions in joint 8th but are now joined by Sycho Sid following his main event run at the back end of 1996.

There is one new addition to both of the above lists. In the best matches you’ll notice the Buried Alive match between Undertaker and Mankind at In Your House Buried Alive joins the matches at the bottom with an 8 out of 10. The match with the AAA guys at Royal Rumble 1997 has made it as the worst match I’ve ever seen. And it was bad. No psychology just an awful, messy contest. The rest stays the same.

Not exactly what you’d expect this list to look like. Mankind slips down to 2nd after topping the last list which means Flair takes the top spot again. 3rd and 4th stay the same whilst Barry Windham is a new entry in 5th. Kama and Kwang slip down to 6th and both Dean Douglas and Diesel drop a place too. I might have to up this list to 3 matches or more because a lot of these guys benefit from high ratings from Royal Rumble matches.

Bastions Top 10 is a highly complex formula that takes into consideration matches won, main events and match ratings to rank the top 10 superstars in history. For this one the top 3 stay the same as on the last stat pack. The Undertaker and British Bulldog have leapfrogged Randy Savage to take the 4th and 5th spot respectively. The rest of the list then stays the same with Owen Hart slowly catching Savage up.

Diesel still sits top of this list following his year long WWF title reign in 1995. There is one new addition to this list in the form of Owen Hart and British Bulldog who have been through the likes of The Smoking Gunns, The Fake Razor Ramon and Fake Diesel and more recently Doug Furnas and Phil Lafon. That asterix next to their name means that the title reign is still ongoing. Their tag team title reign is already the best tag team title reign up to this point.

There is just the one change to this list with Paul Bearer overtaking Jim Cornette. Cornette seems to be losing clients which include Vader. Marlena is very close to getting on this list but Jimmy Hart is miles ahead of anyone.

There are a few changes to this list. Jose Lothario drops to second after Michaels lost to Sycho Sid at Survivor Series. From 5th down we’re looking pretty much the same with Clarence Mason dropping off the list.

The highest managerial loss rate is the record no manager wants. We do have a few changes to this one though with Hillbilly Jim going joint top with Luna. The only other change is a new entrant in Marlena who hasn’t seen Goldust win much recently. She replaces Sable at the bottom of this list.
