Welcome everybody to my 29th WWE Stat Pack! I have been watching every WWF PPV from the very beginning, back from Wrestlemania 1 and reviewing each and every show. Every 5 PPVs I have put together and updated a stat pack which records all the major stats, facts and figures from the big shows. Within this Stat Pack you’ll see all the PPVs ranked as well as which wrestlers have fought the most matches, who has the most wins and losses, all matches rated and who has the best average match rating as well as figures on the tag teams, managers and much more. This Stat Pack covers from the original Wrestlemania through to Survivor Series 2002, all 140 PPVs.
I last posted a Stat Pack just before Summerslam 2002. Since then Brock Lesnar has won the WWE Championship and lost it to The Big Show. A new World Heavyweight Championship was introduced and handed to Triple H but he would lose it to the recently returned Shawn Michaels. Molly Holly lost the Women’s title to Trish Stratus who in turn lost it to new addition to the Women’s roster, Victoria. The World Tag Team titles have gone from Lance Storm and Christian to Kane and The Hurricane to Chris Jericho and Christian. Meanwhile, a new set of WWE Tag Team titles have been introduced for Smackdown competitors and the team of Kurt Angle and Chris Benoit won the titles in a tournament before losing the belts to Edge and Rey Mysterio who in turn lost them to Eddie and Chavo Guerrero. Jamie Noble has also lost his Cruiserweight title, he lost it to Billy Kidman. So now you’re up to date, let’s go check out the stats.

The last 5 PPVs have been mostly fantastic in quality. It moves the overall average of PPVs in 2002 to the very top of the list. In terms of new entries, Summerslam 2002 goes right in at number 2, Survivor Series 2002 is #6, No Mercy is 21st and Unforgiven is #27. The most disappointing of the last 5 PPVs is Rebellion 2002 which goes in as the 101st best PPV of all time up to now.
Most PPV’s Wrestled On
1. The Undertaker (95)
2. Triple H (71)
3. “Stone Cold” Steve Austin (64)
4. The Rock (63)
5. Billy Gunn (59)
6. Glenn Jacobs (Kane/Fake Diesel/ISaac Yankem) (58)
7. Bret Hart (57)
8. Shawn Michaels (56)
9= The British Bulldog (55)
9= Owen Hart/The Blue Blazer (55)
This list features the same ten man that it has for the last few stat packs. Undertaker is still miles ahead of everyone else and Triple H remains in second. He’s also created some space between he and Steve Austin who remains in third despite not wrestling on any of the last 5 PPVs. The Rock and Billy Gunn keep their spots in 4th and 5th whilst Glenn Jacobs goes from joint 7th to 6th. Bret Hart drops to 7th, Shawn Michaels leapfrogs Owen Hart and The British Bulldog into 8th.
Most PPV Matches
1. The Undertaker (98)
2. Triple H (73)
3. The Rock (68)
4. “Stone Cold” Steve Austin (67)
5= Billy Gunn (63)
5= Bret Hart (63)
7. Glenn Jacobs (Kane/Fake Diesel/Isaac Yankem) (59)
8. Owen Hart/The Blue Blazer (58)
9. Shawn Michaels (57)
10. The British Bulldog (56)
This is also a familiar top ten, exactly the same names, as you would expect, as the previous list. The Undertaker is very close to 100 matches. The Rock takes third for himself, dropping Austin down to 4th. Billy Gunn goes joint with Bret Hart in 5th, Glenn Jacobs moves up a place to 7th, Owen Hart drops to 8th, Shawn Michaels rises one place to 9th whilst The British Bulldog drops 2 places to 10th. Undertaker has had 25 more matches than Triple H, that’s practically two years worth of PPV matches!
Highest PPV Win Percentage (2+ matches)
1. Max Mini 100% (3 matches)
2= Paul Heyman 100% (2 matches)
2= The Jumping Bomb Angels 100% (2 matches)
2= Nicole Bass 100% (2 matches)
2= Mini Nova 100% (2 matches)
2= Butterbean 100% (2 matches)
2= Mr T 100% (2 matches)
8. Ricky Steamboat 80% (10 matches)
9= Jamie Noble 80% (5 matches)
9= Torrie Wilson 80% (5 matches)
11. The Ultimate Warrior 79% (19 matches)
12. Sable 75% (8 matches)
13= Tiger Ali Singh 75% (4 matches)
13= The Fabulous Moolah 75% (4 matches)
15= Steven Richards 66% (6 matches)
15= The Steiner Brothers 66.6% (6 matches)
15= Rhyno 66.6% (6 matches)
This list goes to a top 17 and has plenty of changes since the last Stat Pack. Jamie Noble was joint second on the last Stat Pack but following his loss to Billy Kidman at Survivor Series, he drops down to joint 9th. A new entry in joint second is Paul Heyman who has now won 2 PPV matches with Brock Lesnar as his partner. Torrie Wilson is a new entry in at joint 9th after she won her last 2 PPV matches. That means everyone outside of the top 10 drops down a place with the exception of Brock Lesnar who falls of the list after losses to the likes of The Big Show and a draw with The Undertaker. This list features six active roster members so there is the potential for lots of changes in the future.
Most PPV Wins
1. The Undertaker (53)
2= “Stone Cold” Steve Austin (36)
2= Triple H (36)
4. Bret Hart (35)
5. The Rock (34)
6. Billy Gunn (28)
7= Owen Hart (27)
7= The British Bulldog (27)
9. Shawn Michaels (26)
10. Kurt Angle (25)
This list hasn’t changed an awful lot. Triple H rises up to joint second after beating the likes of Kane and Rob Van Dam. Bret Hart and The Rock drop down a place as a result. Everything else stays the same except for Kurt Angle who has the 10th spot to himself after he scored 3 wins from the last 5 PPVs. It has taken only 22 wins to get on this list for quite a while now but Road Dogg who was setting that mark has now fallen off this list.
Most PPV Draws
1. Shawn Michaels (5)
2. The Undertaker (4)
3= Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake (3)
3= The British Bulldog (3)
3= Mankind (3)
3= Glenn Jacobs (Kane, Fake Diesel, Isaac Yankem) (3)
3= Triple H (3)
3= “Stone Cold” Steve Austin (3)
9= The Rock (2)
9= Yokozuna (2)
9= Vader (2)
9= Bad News Brown (2)
9= “Mr Wonderful” Paul Orndorff (2)
9= Don Muraco (2)
There are very rarely any draws on PPV these days. There was one on the last 5 PPVs though and that was between The Undertaker and Brock Lesnar. It was Undertakers fourth draw on pay per view so that moves him up to second. Everyone else (except Michaels) drops down a place.
Most PPV Losses
1. The Undertaker (41)
2. Billy Gunn (35)
3. Triple H (34)
4. Glenn Jacobs (Kane/Fake Diesel/Isaac Yankem) (33)
5. The Rock (32)
6= Sean Waltman (123 Kid/X Pac) (31)
6= Edge (31)
8= Goldust/Dustin Rhodes (30)
8= Owen Hart/The Blue Blazer (30)
10. “Stone Cold” Steve Austin (28)
We go from a top 12 to a top 10 on this list. The top 3 stay exactly the same and what you will notice here is that there are only 5 losses from 2nd to 9th. Glenn Jacobs has 4th to himself now, The Rock drops down to 5th and Sean Waltman drops down to 6th – joint with Edge who was joint 10th on the last Stat Pack. Owen Hart drops down a place to 8th joint with Goldust whilst Steve Austin will be happy to fall down to 10th. Bret Hart and Faarooq drop off this list as it now requires 28 pay per view losses to get on this list.
Highest PPV Loss Percentage
1. Koko B. Ware 100% (11 matches)
2= Boris Zhukov 100% (7 matches)
2= Bryan Clark/Adam Bomb 100% (7 matches)
4= Skinner 100% (6 matches)
4= The Hurricane (6 matches)
6= Ron Bass 100% (5 matches)
6= The Bezerker 100% (5 matches)
8= Rey Mysterio 100% (4 matches)
8= Stacy Keibler 100% (4 matches)
8= Barry Windham 100% (4 matches)
8= Leilani Kai 100% (4 matches)
8= Ken Patera 100% (4 matches)
8= Paul Diamond (Max Moon/Kato) 100% (4 matches)
8= Duke “The Dumpster” Droese 100% (4 matches)
8= Kamala 100% (4 matches)
There is only one new addition to this list and this is in the form of Rey Mysterio, in at joint 8th with 4 consecutive PPV losses. Mysterio debuted at Summerslam 2002 with a lot of hype but since then he has lost every match he’s had on the big scale. The likes of The Hurricane and Stacy Keibler are on the current roster and haven’t wrestled since the last Stat Pack so find themselves stuck on this list still.
Most PPV Main Events
1. The Undertaker (46)
2. “Stone Cold” Steve Austin (40)
3. The Rock (30)
4. Triple H (27)
5. Bret Hart (24)
6= Hulk Hogan (22)
6= Shawn Michaels (22)
8. Mick Foley (17)
9= Kurt Angle (13)
9= Kane (13)
This top 10 doesn’t change an awful lot. The Undertaker has main evented another 2 PPVs since the last Stat Pack so he extends his lead at the top. Shawn Michaels main eventing Survivor Series 2002 puts him joint with Hulk Hogan whilst a main event appearance for Kane puts him joint with Kurt Angle in joint 9th and that also means that Diesel drops off the list.
Most PPV Matches Without Main Eventing
1. Christian (46)
2. Bradshaw (40)
3. Jeff Hardy (39)
4. Matt Hardy (35)
5. Jeff Jarrett (31)
6= Hardcore Holly (29)
6= Jake “The Snake” Roberts (29)
6= Al Snow/Leif Cassidy (29)
9= D-lo Brown (28)
9= Charles Wright (The Godfather/Kama/Papa Shango) (28)
This top 10 only has one change to it from the last Stat Pack. Edge who was top of the list is now off it after he main evented Rebellion 2002 against Brock Lesnar (and Paul Heyman). Therefore everyone else moves up one place and it is now Edge’s “brother” Christian that is at the very top with 46 PPV matches and no main events. Christian has actually wrestled as many PPV matches as The Undertaker has main events.

There are three new entries to the highest rated matches list with the highest new entry being Shawn Michaels vs. Triple H at Summerslam 2002. Also from that event, Chris Benoit vs. Rob Van Dam enters the list at joint 14th alongside the triple tag team match between Edge/Rey Mysterio, Kurt Angle/Chris Benoit and Los Guerrero’s at No Mercy 2002. That takes the list up to a top 30. The lowest rated matches list doesn’t change.

I have changed this list from a top 10 to a top 15 because of all the teams that are on it based on winning 2 matches. The highest new entry is Christian and Lance Storm who beat both Hulk Hogan and Edge at Vengeance 2002 and then Booker T and Goldust at Summerslam 2002. They go in at 3rd knocking everyone below them down a place. There are three teams that come in at joint 12th, all winning 2 matches from the 3 they have had on pay per view. It’s nice to see the New Age Outlaws on this list as they have wrestled more PPV matches together than any other team on this list.

There are 2 new entries in Booker T and Goldust who have lost matches to the likes of Lance Storm & Christian and Chris Jericho & Christian and Edge and Rey Mysterio who have lost matches to Chris Benoit & Kurt Angle and Los Guerreros.

7. Kurt Angle (7.32)
8. Shane McMahon (7.30)
9. Vince McMahon (7.28)
10. Chris Jericho (7.20)
This list look a lot better than it used to. Cactus Jack keeps his spot at the top but just below him is a new entry in the entertaining Rey Mysterio. Chainsaw Charlie and K-Kwik both drop down a place whilst Chris Benoit rises up from 9th to 5th. RVD stays in 6th, Kurt Angle goes up one place from 8th to 7th, Shane drops 4 places from 4th to 8th as does his father Vince who goes from 5th to 9th. Chris Jericho makes up the list dropping from 7th to 10th. Lots of entertaining wrestlers on this list.

9. Ivory (3.38)
10. Tori (3.4)
This list continues to feature 8 women compared to just 2 males. The top 7 stay exactly the same but previously we had Torrie Wilson in 8th. She’s had some better matches against the likes of Dawn Marie and in mixed tag team action so she is now off this list. Stacy and Ivory rise up a place and in 10th is a re-entry for Tori.

7. Shawn Michaels (19578)
8. Owen Hart (17425)
9. The British Bulldog (16934)
10. Billy Gunn (16674)
This list is made up of a formula of matches wrestled, won, average match ratings, main events and win percentage. It creates a top 10 of the best of all time. There are a few changes to this list but only the order of superstars. Triple H goes above The Rock due to The Rock not being around so much these days. Kurt Angle leapfrogs both Shawn Michaels and Owen Hart, going from 8th to 6th. Bulldog and Billy Gunn keep their positions in 9th and 10th. If you’re interested as to who would make up the top 20 at this time then from 11th to 20th it goes Kane, Hulk Hogan, Edge, Chris Jericho, Mick Foley, Sean Waltman (123 Kid/X Pac), The Road Dogg, Christian, Macho Man Randy Savage and Bubba Ray Dudley.

Trish is only 3 matches behind her but she’s about 1600 points behind her on this list. Trish does move up from 3rd to 2nd. Torrie Wilson is a new entry, straight in at 5th after wins in mixed tag team action and singles competition over Dawn Marie. Lita, Jazz and Molly Holly all move down a place and then Alundra Blayze and Nicole Bass move down 2 places. The Jumping Bomb Angels fall off this list altogether.

There were 5 title matches at Survivor Series and every singles title changed hands that night. Long title reigns seem to be a thing of the past these days with no new entries to this list since Stone Cold Steve Austin lost the WWE Championship at the end of 2001.
