Stat Pack Vol 32

Welcome everybody to my 32nd WWE Stat Pack! I have been watching every WWF PPV from the very beginning, back from Wrestlemania 1 and reviewing each and every show. Every 5 PPVs I have put together and updated a stat pack which records all the major stats, facts and figures from the big shows. Within this Stat Pack you’ll see all the PPVs ranked as well as which wrestlers have fought the most matches, who has the most wins and losses, all matches rated and who has the best average match rating as well as figures on the tag teams, managers and much more. This Stat Pack covers from the original Wrestlemania through to Royal Rumble 2004,  a whopping 160 PPVs.

The last Stat Pack I posted was just after Summerslam 2003 and since then a lot of things have changed on both Raw and Smackdown. On Raw Triple H lost his World Heavyweight Championship to Goldberg but has since won it back. The World Tag Team Championships are held by The Dudley Boyz, Molly Holly is the Women’s Champion whilst Christian lost the Intercontinental Championship to Rob Van Dam who in turn lost it to Randy Orton. On Smackdown Paul Heyman is the new Smackdown General Manager whilst Brock Lesnar is the WWE Champion. Eddie Guerrero lost the United States Championship to The Big Show whilst The Bashams are the WWE Tag Team Champions and Rey Mysterio is the Cruiserweight Champion despite losing it briefly to Tajiri.

Lets check out the stats.

Year Ranking

1.  2001 (63.2)
2. 2002 (62.98)

18. 1988 (46)
19. 1985 (40.5)
20. 1986 (39.5)

2003 ends in a whimper, a whimper that is continued into 2004. The best pay per view of the last 5 is Unforgiven 2003 which goes in at joint 39th whilst Survivor Series 2003 isn’t far behind in 43rd. The only Smackdown-only pay per view from the last 5 is No Mercy 2003 and that was by far the most disappointing, that doesn’t even break the top 100. Those poor pay per views mean that 2003 as a year finishes behind 2002, 2000 and 2001, fourth overall. Royal Rumble 2004 gets a 55.8 out of 100 which means 2004 as a year begins in 10th place. It can only get better.

Most PPV’s Wrestled On

1. The Undertaker (102)
2. Triple H (84)
3. Glenn Jacobs (Fake Diesel/Isaac Yankem/Kane) (70)
4= The Rock (66)
4= “Stone Cold” Steve Austin (66)
4= Shawn Michaels (66)
7. Billy Gunn (61)
8. Bret Hart (57)
9= The British Bulldog (55)
9= Owen Hart/The Blue Blazer (55)
9= Edge (55)
9= Christian (55)

After 160 WWE PPV’s it is still The Undertaker that leads the way having wrestled on 102. Triple H gets ever closer, closing the gap from being 20 PPV’s behind to 18. Kane is now third on his own having wrestled on 4 of the last 5 PPVs. That means The Rock and Steve Austin drop down to 4th and are joined by Shawn Michaels who has also wrestled on 4 of the last 5 shows. Everyone else stays the same except for Christian who is a new entry in joint 9th, joining his brother Edge as well as Owen Hart & The British Bulldog.

Most PPV Matches

1. The Undertaker (105)
2. Triple H (86)
3= The Rock (71)
3= Glenn Jacobs (Kane/Fake Diesel/Isaac Yankem) (71)
5. “Stone Cold” Steve Austin (69)
6. Shawn Michaels (67)
7. Billy Gunn (65)
8. Bret Hart (63)
9. Owen Hart/The Blue Blazer (58)
10= The British Bulldog (56)
10= Edge (56)
10= Chris Jericho (56)

Again, Triple H gets closer to The Undertaker, now closing the gap to 19 PPV matches. Glenn Jacobs leaps up to joint third with The Rock which means Stone Cold slips down a place. Shawn Michaels is up from joint 7th to 6th causing Billy Gunn and Bret Hart to fall down a position. Owen Hart stays in 9th and in 10th The British Bulldog and Edge are now joined by Chris Jericho.

Highest PPV Win Percentage (2+ matches)

1. Max Mini 100% (3 matches)
2= Paul Heyman 100% (2 matches)
2= The Jumping Bomb Angels 100% (2 matches)
2= Nicole Bass 100% (2 matches)
2= Mini Nova 100% (2 matches)
2= Butterbean 100% (2 matches)
2= Mr T 100% (2 matches)
8. Torrie Wilson 83.3% (6 matches)
9. Ricky Steamboat 80% (10 matches)
10. The Ultimate Warrior 79% (19 matches)
11. Sable 77.77% (9 matches)
12= Tiger Ali Singh 75% (4 matches)
12= The Fabulous Moolah 75% (4 matches)
14. Jamie Noble 71.4% (7 matches)
15. Brock Lesnar 68% (22 matches)

I like to make this list a top 15 due to the 6 entries that are on the list because they won both of their PPV matches. The top 7 stay the same for this list but Torrie rises a place from 9th to 8th. This is due to Jamie Noble’s loss to Rey Mysterio at Royal Rumble 2004 which takes Noble from 8th all the way down to 14th. Ricky steamboat, Ultimate Warrior, Sable, Tiger Ali Singh and The Fabulous Moolah all move up a place. La Resistance fall of the list due to their run of bad form. The last few times this list has gone up, it’s taken a 75% win record to get on it however as you can see, Jamie Noble is now 14th with a 71.4% win record and Brock Lesnar props up the list with a 68% win record.

Most PPV Wins

1. The Undertaker (57)
2. Triple H (44)
3. “Stone Cold” Steve Austin (37)
4. The Rock (36)
5. Bret Hart (35)
6. Kurt Angle (30)
7= Billy Gunn (28)
7= Shawn Michaels (28)
7= Kane (28)
10= The British Bulldog (27)
10= Owen Hart (27)

There’s a little bit of movement on this list but not much. The Undertaker hasn’t won any matches on PPV recently whilst Triple H has only won once. Kurt Angle won one match, beating John Cena, whilst Shawn Michaels win over Batista is enough to move him up to joint 7th with Billy Gunn and new entry Kane who has beaten Shane McMahon 2 times over the last 5 PPVs. British Bulldog and Owen Hart slide down two positions from joint 8th to joint 10th. Amazing that only 27 wins from 160 PPVs is enough to get you on this list.

Most PPV Draws

1. Shawn Michaels (6)
2= The Undertaker (4)
2= Triple H (4)
4= Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake (3)
4= The British Bulldog (3)
4= Mankind (3)
4= Glenn Jacobs (Kane, Fake Diesel, Isaac Yankem) (3)
4= “Stone Cold” Steve Austin (3)
9= The Rock (2)
9= Yokozuna (2)
9= Vader (2)
9= Bad News Brown (2)
9= “Mr Wonderful” Paul Orndorff (2)
9= Don Muraco (2)

This list stays pretty much the same due to the lack of draws. The only draw from the last 5 PPV’s was between Shawn Michaels and Triple H. Michaels is the draw specialist and extends his lead at the top to 6 draws whilst Triple H moves up from joint 3rd to joint 2nd. Everyone else stays the same.

Most PPV Losses

1. The Undertaker (44)
2. Glenn Jacobs (Kane/Fake Diesel/Isaac Yankem) (40)
3. Triple H (38)
4. Billy Gunn (37)
5= Shawn Michaels (33)
5= The Rock (33)
7= Edge (32)
7= Christian (32)
7= Chris Jericho (32)
7= Dustin Rhodes/Goldust (32)

There’s quite a lot of change on this list as there seems to be more superstars losing than winning these days. Undertaker is still top, with 4 Kane 4 losses behind him. Triple H is now third on his own after a couple of losses to Goldberg whilst Billy Gunn drops to 4th. Shawn Michaels is up from 8th to joint 5th with The Rock. In joint 7th now are Edge and Dustin Rhodes who have both slipped a place but are now joined by Christian and Chris Jericho as the Canadians start creeping up on to these lists.

Highest PPV Loss Percentage

1. Koko B. Ware 100% (11 matches)
2. The Hurricane 100% (8 matches)
3= Boris Zhukov 100% (7 matches)
3= Bryan Clark/Adam Bomb 100% (7 matches)
5. Skinner 100% (6 matches)
6= Ron Bass 100% (5 matches)
6= The Bezerker 100% (5 matches)
8= Stacy Keibler 100% (4 matches)
8= Maven 100% (4 matches)
8= Barry Windham 100% (4 matches)
8= Leilani Kai 100% (4 matches)
8= Ken Patera 100% (4 matches)
8= Paul Diamond (Max Moon/Kato) 100% (4 matches)
8= Duke “The Dumpster” Droese 100% (4 matches)
8= Kamala 100% (4 matches)

There is a bit of a change to this list as it goes from a top 16 to a top 15. Rey Mysterio finally drops off this list after he won a match! He beat Jamie Noble at Royal Rumble 2003, picking up his first PPV win 18 months into his WWE career. He is replaced in second place by The Hurricane who lost in tag team turmoil at Armageddon 2003 and was eliminated quickly in the 2004 Royal Rumble match. He now looks to be the man to catch up with Koko B. Ware.

Most PPV Main Events

1. The Undertaker (47)
2. “Stone Cold” Steve Austin (40)
3. Triple H (35)
4. The Rock (32)
5. Shawn Michaels (25)
6. Bret Hart (24)
7. Hulk Hogan (23)
8. Kurt Angle (18)
9. Mick Foley (17)
10. Diesel/Kevin Nash (15)

The names on this top ten stay the same but the order does not. The top 2 stay the same but Triple H leap-frogs The Rock into third place. That feels like it’s been a long time coming. Triple H seems to main event everything these days. Just a shame I don’t consider the World Heavyweight title main event over the WWE title. Shawn Michaels is now 5th on his own which means Bret Hart slips down to 6th. The bottom 4 all stay the same. There’s some pretty big names on this list and it puts into perspective who are the main eventers.

Most PPV Matches Without Main Eventing

1. Christian (55)
2. Bradshaw (44)
3= Jeff Hardy (41)
3= Matt Hardy (41)
5. Eddie Guerrero (34)
6. Test (32)
7. Jeff Jarrett (31)
8. Al Snow/Leif Cassidy (30)
9= Jake “The Snake” Roberts (29)
9= Val Venis (29)

Christian keeps his spot at the top of this list, now wrestling in 55 PPV matches without main eventing. Bradshaw moves up to second, over-taking Jeff Hardy whilst Jeffs brother Matt joins Jeff in joint 3rd. Eddie Guerrero keeps his spot in 5th, Test moves up a place to 6th and Jarrett slips down two places to 7th. Al Snow keeps his place in 8th, Jake Roberts slips down a place to 9th and is now joined by Val Venis. Hardcore Holly moves off this list as he main evented the 2004 Royal Rumble PPV, getting a WWE title shot against Brock Lesnar.

6= Fabulous Moolah vs. Velvet McIntyre – Wrestlemania II (2/10)
6= Uncle Elmer vs. Adrian Adonis – Wrestlemania II (2/10)
6= Corporal Kirchner vs. Nikolai Volkoff – Wrestlemania II (2/10)
6= Tony Garea vs. Ted Arcidi – The Big Event (2/10)
6= Haku vs. Don Muraco – The Big Event (2/10)
6= Adrian Adonis vs. Junkyard Dog – The Big Event (2/10)
6= Jake Roberts vs. Andre The Giant – Wrestlemania V (2/10)
6= Demolition vs. Tenryu & Kitao – Wrestlemania VII (2/10)
6= Jake “The Snake” Roberts vs. Jerry “The King” Lawler – Summerslam 96 (2/10)
6= Mosaic & Tarantula vs. Max Mini & Nova – Badd Blood 97 (2/10)
6= Ivory vs. Tori – Summerslam 99 (2/10)
6= Zach Gowan vs. Vince McMahon – Vengeance 2003 (2/10)

There are no new entries to these lists which means that everything over the past 4 PPVs has been painfully average. I think the best match from the last 5 shows has been between Kane and Shane McMahon although the 2004 Royal Rumble match scored an 8 out of 10. Nothing too terrible really, these lists stay the same.

Tag Teams With Highest PPV Win Percentage (2+ matches)

1. The Natural Disasters 100% (4 matches)
2. The Steiner Brothers 100% (3 matches)
3= The Basham Brothers 100% (2 matches)
3= Lance Storm & Christian 100% (2 matches)
3= Spike Dudley & Tazz 100% (2 matches)
3= Big Boss Man & Bull Buchanan 100% (2 matches)
3= Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff 100% (2 matches)
3= Men On A Mission 100% (2 matches)
3= The Brain Busters 100% (2 matches)
10. The Headbangers 77.7% (9 matches)
11= The World’s Greatest Tag Team 75% (4 matches)
11= La Resistance 75% (4 matches)
11= Owen Hart & Yokozuna 75% (4 matches)
14. The Legion Of Doom 69% (16 matches)
15= Chris Jericho & Christian 66.6% (3 matches)
15= Kurt Angle & Chris Benoit 66.6% (3 matches)
15= Owen Hart & Jeff Jarrett 66.6% (3 matches)
15= The Nasty Boys 66.6% (3 matches)

This list is getting a bit ridiculous. There are now 18 tag teams on it and to be honest, I’d love to get rid of those that have only wrestled two matches. The Basham Brothers are the highest new entry, in at joint 3rd following wins over The APA and Los Guerreros. That means everyone else slips down a place but in joint 15th are Christian and Chris Jericho who are a new entry following their win at Armageddon 2003 over Trish Stratus and Lita.

Tag Teams With Highest PPV Loss Percentage (2+ matches)

1= Edge & Rey Mysterio 100% (2 matches)
1= Lance Storm & The Hurricane 100% (2 matches)
1= Strike Force 100% (2 matches)
1= The Bolsheviks 100% (2 matches)
1= The Blu Brothers 100% (2 matches)
1= The Rock’n’Roll Express 100% (2 matches)
7= D-lo Brown & Mark Henry 80% (5 matches)
7= Los Guerrero’s 80% (5 matches)
9. The Godwinns 70% (10 matches)
10. The APA 66.6% (9 matches)

I’ve managed to trim this list right down by making it a top 10. The top 6 stay the same with 6 teams all of which have wrestled and won their 2 PPV matches. Then in joint 7th are Los Guerrero’s who join D-lo Brown and Mark Henry. Eddie and Chavo losing to The Bashams at Survivor Series led to them rising up a place on this list. The Godwinns stay in 9th and then in 10th is The APA who also lost to The Basham Brothers and due to wrestling more matches than the other 10 teams on 66% loss records, it means they are in 10th on their own.

Highest Average Match Rating (2+ matches)

1. Cactus Jack (8.15)
2. Matt Morgan (7.75)
3. Chainsaw Charlie (7.66)
4. K-Kwik (7.5)
5. Randy Orton (7.4)
6. Kurt Angle (7.35)
7. Chris Benoit (7.34)
8. The World’s Greatest Tag Team (7.28)
9. Chris Jericho (7.18)
10. Stone Cold Steve Austin (7.16)

This list has taken a funny turn. Cactus Jack is still top of this one but a new entry in second is Matt Morgan who has been involved in 2 good matches over the past few months, a traditional Survivor Series match and the 2004 Royal Rumble match. He can’t take credit for either of those matches but they do put him into second place. Chainsaw Charlie and K-Kwik fall down a place to make way for Morgan and another new entry in Randy Orton, straight in at number 5 following some good matches with the likes of Shawn Michaels and Rob Van Dam. Kurt Angle falls down a place to 6th, Chris Benoit falls down 3 places to 7th, The World’s Greatest Tag Team rise up one place to 8th due to their appearances in the 2004 Royal Rumble match. Chris Jericho falls from 7th to 9th and Stone Cold Steve Austin drops from 8th to 10th. Goldberg and Rob Van Dam fall off the list altogether.

Lowest Average Match Rating (2+ matches)

1. Terri Runnels (1.66)
2. The Kat (2)
3. The Fabulous Moolah (2.5)
4. Corporal Kirchner (2.5)
5. Adrian Adonis (2.85)
6. Debra (2.875)
7. Velvet McIntyre (3)
8. Stacy Keibler (3.375)
9. Tori (3.4)
10. Rockin’ Robin (3.5)

There is only one change to this list and that is because of Ivory’s 5/10 match with Molly Holly at Armageddon 2003, she comes off this list. Tori therefore moves up to 9th and the re-entry in 10th is Rockin’ Robin. Still 8 out of the 10 names on this list are women.

Bastions Top 10

1. The Undertaker (41325)
2. Triple H (33330)
3. “Stone Cold” Steve Austin (30525)
4. The Rock (28386)
5. Bret Hart (24162)
6. Kurt Angle (23877)
7. Shawn Michaels (21452)
8. Kane (19884)
9. Chris Jericho (18139)
10. Hulk Hogan/Mr America (17633)

This list is made up of a formula of matches wrestled, won, average match ratings, main events and win percentage. It creates a top 10 of the best of all time. The top 8 actually stay the same on this list with Triple H getting ever closer to The Undertaker. Chris Jericho leap-frogs Hulk Hogan after 4 matches on the last 5 PPVs. The rest of the top 20 is made up of Owen Hart, The British Bulldog, Billy Gunn, Edge, Christian, Mick Foley, Sean Waltman, The Road Dogg, Chris Benoit and Bubba Ray Dudley.

Bastions Top 10 Women

1. Chyna (5553)
2. Trish Stratus (5218)
3. Sable (3575)
4. Jazz (2805)
5. Ivory (2464)
6. Lita (2041)
7. Molly Holly (2030)
8. Torrie Wilson (1958)
9. Victoria (1150)
10= Alundra Blayze (950)
10= Nicole Bass (950)

It’s the same 11 women on this list. Trish is getting very close to Chyna now and has surpassed her in terms of matches wrestled. Sable, Jazz and Ivory keep their places but it’s Lita who is now in 6th following her return to the ring. Molly Holly jumps up 2 places to 7th, Torrie falls 2 places to 8. Victoria drops a place to 9th and still in 10th are Alundra Blayze and Nicole Bass. It’s been nearly a decade since Alundra Blayze was last in the ring.

Top 10 Title Reigns

1. Diesel – 1st WWF Title Reign
2. Triple H – 2nd World Heavyweight Title Reign
3. Shawn Michaels – 1st WWF Title Reign
4. “Stone Cold” Steve Austin – 5th WWF Title Reign
5. The British Bulldog & Owen Hart – 1st Tag Team Title Reign
6. Hulk Hogan – 1st WWF Title Reign
7. Ivory – 3rd Women’s Title Reign
8. The Undertaker – 2nd WWF Title Reign
9. Kurt Angle – 1st WWF Title Reign
10. The Rock – 2nd Intercontinental Title Reign

No changes to this list. Triple H’s second World Heavyweight Championship reign is the newest title reign to be on this list. I still like the fact that it’s ten different names on this list, nobody features on here twice.

Most Matches Managed

1. Jimmy Hart (64)
2. Paul Bearer (56)
3. Mr Fuji (40)
4. Bobby Heenan (37)
5. Chyna (36)
6. Jim Cornette (32)
7. Terri Runnels/Marlena (25)
8. Slick (23)
9= “Million Dollar Man” Ted Dibiase (21)
9= Stephanie McMahon (21)

This list stays the same as there don’t tend to be many managers these days. Paul Heyman, Teddy Long, Ric Flair, Nidia, Jackie Gayda and Shaniqua is the most amount of managers there have been for a long time but none of those make the list yet. Jimmy Hart leads the way with 64 matches.

Highest Managerial Success Rate (2+ matches)

1. Paul Ellering 100% (2 matches)
1. Rico 100% (2 matches)
3. Miss Elizabeth 77.7% (18 matches)
4. Jose Lothario 77.7% (9 matches)
5. Jacqueline 75% (4 matches)
6. Ric Flair 72% (11 matches)
7. Nidia 71% (7 matches)
8= Tori 66.6% (6 matches)
8= Teddy Long 66.6% (6 matches)
10= Curtis Hughes 66.6% (3 matches)
10= The Fabulous Moolah 66.6% (3 matches)
10= Mae Young 66.6% (3 matches)

It’s the same 12 names on this list but they are in a slightly different order. Teddy Long drops from the top spot down to joint 8th which means Paul Ellering and Rico go back to the top. Miss Elizabeth and Jose Lothario go back up to 3rd and 4th with Jacqueline in 5th as Ric Flair and Nidia drop down to 6th and 7th. Everyone else on the list stays the same.

Highest Managerial Loss Rate (2+ matches)

1. Hillbilly Jim 100% (6 matches)
2. Uncle Zeb 100% (3 matches)
3= Cowboy Bob Orton 100% (2 matches)
3= Kim Chee 100% (2 matches)
3= Oliver Humperdink 100% (2 matches)
3= The Blue Meanie 100% (2 matches)
7. Harvey Wippleman 84.6% (13 matches)
8. Luna 80% (10 matches)
9. General Adnan 80% (5 matches)
10= Diana Hart Smith 75% (4 matches)
10= Yamaguchi San 75% (4 matches)
10= Molly Holly 75% (4 matches)
10= Torrie Wilson 75% (4 matches)

This list stays exactly the same. Will Hillbilly Jims record ever be matches? I have my doubts.
