Welcome everybody to my 32nd WWE Stat Pack! I have been watching every WWF PPV from the very beginning, back from Wrestlemania 1 and reviewing each and every show. Every 5 PPVs I have put together and updated a stat pack which records all the major stats, facts and figures from the big shows. Within this Stat Pack you’ll see all the PPVs ranked as well as which wrestlers have fought the most matches, who has the most wins and losses, all matches rated and who has the best average match rating as well as figures on the tag teams, managers and much more. This Stat Pack covers from the original Wrestlemania through to Royal Rumble 2004,  a whopping 160 PPVs.

The last Stat Pack I posted was just after Summerslam 2003 and since then a lot of things have changed on both Raw and Smackdown. On Raw Triple H lost his World Heavyweight Championship to Goldberg but has since won it back. The World Tag Team Championships are held by The Dudley Boyz, Molly Holly is the Women’s Champion whilst Christian lost the Intercontinental Championship to Rob Van Dam who in turn lost it to Randy Orton. On Smackdown Paul Heyman is the new Smackdown General Manager whilst Brock Lesnar is the WWE Champion. Eddie Guerrero lost the United States Championship to The Big Show whilst The Bashams are the WWE Tag Team Champions and Rey Mysterio is the Cruiserweight Champion despite losing it briefly to Tajiri.

2003 ends in a whimper, a whimper that is continued into 2004. The best pay per view of the last 5 is Unforgiven 2003 which goes in at joint 39th whilst Survivor Series 2003 isn’t far behind in 43rd. The only Smackdown-only pay per view from the last 5 is No Mercy 2003 and that was by far the most disappointing, that doesn’t even break the top 100. Those poor pay per views mean that 2003 as a year finishes behind 2002, 2000 and 2001, fourth overall. Royal Rumble 2004 gets a 55.8 out of 100 which means 2004 as a year begins in 10th place. It can only get better.

After 160 WWE PPV’s it is still The Undertaker that leads the way having wrestled on 102. Triple H gets ever closer, closing the gap from being 20 PPV’s behind to 18. Kane is now third on his own having wrestled on 4 of the last 5 PPVs. That means The Rock and Steve Austin drop down to 4th and are joined by Shawn Michaels who has also wrestled on 4 of the last 5 shows. Everyone else stays the same except for Christian who is a new entry in joint 9th, joining his brother Edge as well as Owen Hart & The British Bulldog.

I like to make this list a top 15 due to the 6 entries that are on the list because they won both of their PPV matches. The top 7 stay the same for this list but Torrie rises a place from 9th to 8th. This is due to Jamie Noble’s loss to Rey Mysterio at Royal Rumble 2004 which takes Noble from 8th all the way down to 14th. Ricky steamboat, Ultimate Warrior, Sable, Tiger Ali Singh and The Fabulous Moolah all move up a place. La Resistance fall of the list due to their run of bad form. The last few times this list has gone up, it’s taken a 75% win record to get on it however as you can see, Jamie Noble is now 14th with a 71.4% win record and Brock Lesnar props up the list with a 68% win record.

There’s a little bit of movement on this list but not much. The Undertaker hasn’t won any matches on PPV recently whilst Triple H has only won once. Kurt Angle won one match, beating John Cena, whilst Shawn Michaels win over Batista is enough to move him up to joint 7th with Billy Gunn and new entry Kane who has beaten Shane McMahon 2 times over the last 5 PPVs. British Bulldog and Owen Hart slide down two positions from joint 8th to joint 10th. Amazing that only 27 wins from 160 PPVs is enough to get you on this list.

This list stays pretty much the same due to the lack of draws. The only draw from the last 5 PPV’s was between Shawn Michaels and Triple H. Michaels is the draw specialist and extends his lead at the top to 6 draws whilst Triple H moves up from joint 3rd to joint 2nd. Everyone else stays the same.

There’s quite a lot of change on this list as there seems to be more superstars losing than winning these days. Undertaker is still top, with 4 Kane 4 losses behind him. Triple H is now third on his own after a couple of losses to Goldberg whilst Billy Gunn drops to 4th. Shawn Michaels is up from 8th to joint 5th with The Rock. In joint 7th now are Edge and Dustin Rhodes who have both slipped a place but are now joined by Christian and Chris Jericho as the Canadians start creeping up on to these lists.

There is a bit of a change to this list as it goes from a top 16 to a top 15. Rey Mysterio finally drops off this list after he won a match! He beat Jamie Noble at Royal Rumble 2003, picking up his first PPV win 18 months into his WWE career. He is replaced in second place by The Hurricane who lost in tag team turmoil at Armageddon 2003 and was eliminated quickly in the 2004 Royal Rumble match. He now looks to be the man to catch up with Koko B. Ware.

The names on this top ten stay the same but the order does not. The top 2 stay the same but Triple H leap-frogs The Rock into third place. That feels like it’s been a long time coming. Triple H seems to main event everything these days. Just a shame I don’t consider the World Heavyweight title main event over the WWE title. Shawn Michaels is now 5th on his own which means Bret Hart slips down to 6th. The bottom 4 all stay the same. There’s some pretty big names on this list and it puts into perspective who are the main eventers.

Christian keeps his spot at the top of this list, now wrestling in 55 PPV matches without main eventing. Bradshaw moves up to second, over-taking Jeff Hardy whilst Jeffs brother Matt joins Jeff in joint 3rd. Eddie Guerrero keeps his spot in 5th, Test moves up a place to 6th and Jarrett slips down two places to 7th. Al Snow keeps his place in 8th, Jake Roberts slips down a place to 9th and is now joined by Val Venis. Hardcore Holly moves off this list as he main evented the 2004 Royal Rumble PPV, getting a WWE title shot against Brock Lesnar.

There are no new entries to these lists which means that everything over the past 4 PPVs has been painfully average. I think the best match from the last 5 shows has been between Kane and Shane McMahon although the 2004 Royal Rumble match scored an 8 out of 10. Nothing too terrible really, these lists stay the same.

This list is getting a bit ridiculous. There are now 18 tag teams on it and to be honest, I’d love to get rid of those that have only wrestled two matches. The Basham Brothers are the highest new entry, in at joint 3rd following wins over The APA and Los Guerreros. That means everyone else slips down a place but in joint 15th are Christian and Chris Jericho who are a new entry following their win at Armageddon 2003 over Trish Stratus and Lita.

I’ve managed to trim this list right down by making it a top 10. The top 6 stay the same with 6 teams all of which have wrestled and won their 2 PPV matches. Then in joint 7th are Los Guerrero’s who join D-lo Brown and Mark Henry. Eddie and Chavo losing to The Bashams at Survivor Series led to them rising up a place on this list. The Godwinns stay in 9th and then in 10th is The APA who also lost to The Basham Brothers and due to wrestling more matches than the other 10 teams on 66% loss records, it means they are in 10th on their own.

This list has taken a funny turn. Cactus Jack is still top of this one but a new entry in second is Matt Morgan who has been involved in 2 good matches over the past few months, a traditional Survivor Series match and the 2004 Royal Rumble match. He can’t take credit for either of those matches but they do put him into second place. Chainsaw Charlie and K-Kwik fall down a place to make way for Morgan and another new entry in Randy Orton, straight in at number 5 following some good matches with the likes of Shawn Michaels and Rob Van Dam. Kurt Angle falls down a place to 6th, Chris Benoit falls down 3 places to 7th, The World’s Greatest Tag Team rise up one place to 8th due to their appearances in the 2004 Royal Rumble match.
