Welcome everybody to my 38th WWE Stat Pack! I have been watching every WWF PPV from the very beginning, back from Wrestlemania 1 and reviewing each and every show. Every 5 PPVs I have put together and updated a stat pack which records all the major stats, facts and figures from the big shows. Within this Stat Pack you’ll see all the PPVs ranked as well as which wrestlers have fought the most matches, who has the most wins and losses, all matches rated and who has the best average match rating as well as figures on the tag teams, managers and much more. This Stat Pack covers from the original Wrestlemania through to Royal Rumble 2006, an epic 190 PPVs.
A few things have changed since the last Stat Pack, which I posted just after No Mercy 2005. Since then, Eric Bischoff has been sacked as General Manager of Raw and Vince McMahon has taken over the reigns himself. Edge cashed his Money In The Bank briefcase and won the WWE Championship from John Cena only to lose it back to him at the Royal Rumble. Ric Flair is still Intercontinental Champion and Trish Stratus is still Women’s Champion but Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch lost their world tag team championships to The Big Show and Kane at Taboo Tuesday. Over on Smackdown Batista had to vacate the world heavyweight championship, a title that Kurt Angle won in a battle royal and still holds. Booker T was forced to vacate the United States Championship but won it back with help from Randy Orton in a best of 7 series against Chris Benoit. MNM lost their WWE tag team championships to Batista and Rey Mysterio but won the title back to become three time champions. Juventud Guerrera lost the Cruiserweight title to Kid Kash who in turn lost the title to Gregory Helms. I think that’s you all up to date so let’s get to the stats.

There are five new entries to the pay per view list. The highest new entry is Survivor Series 2005 which enters at just outside the top 50 in 51st. The lowest new entry is New Year’s Revolution 2005 which is in at 152nd. The other three PPV’s all slot in between them. Overall 2005 finishes in 6th place which is an improvement on 2004. 2006 starts as the worst year since 1993, in at 14th of the 22 years I have reviewed. There’s a long way to go in 2006 yet though.
Most PPV’s Wrestled On
1. The Undertaker (116)
2. Triple H (101)
3. Glenn Jacobs (Fake Diesel/Isaac Yankem/Kane) (87)

6. Chris Jericho (69)
7. Kurt Angle (68)
8. The Rock (67)
9. “Stone Cold” Steve Austin (66)
10. Christian (65)
We’re up to 190 WWE PPV’s now but this list features the same ten men as the last stat pack. The Undertaker still has a big lead over Triple H in second place, 15 PPV’s separate the two men but Triple H becomes the second men to join the 100 PPV club. 3rd and 4th stay the same but Edge swaps place with Chris Jericho to get into the top 5. Kurt Angle rises from 10th to 7th after wrestling on 4 of the last 5 PPV’s. The Rock, Steve Austin and Christian who haven’t wrestled on the last 5 shows all drop down one position.

This list also features the same ten men as the last stat pack and 9 of these men also appeared on the previous list on this stat pack. The top 4 stay exactly the same as on the last stat pack with Triple H joining the 100 PPV matches club. Kurt Angle is the highest riser, he goes from joint 7th to 5th. Edge, who was also joint 7th, rises up to 6th. The Rock slips two places down to 7th, Chris Jericho falls two places to 8th whilst Steve Austin and Billy Gunn keep their places in 9th and 10th.

12= The Fabulous Moolah 75% (4 matches)
14. Hulk Hogan/Mr America 66.6% (39 matches)
15. Rick Steiner 66.6% (6 matches)
Because of the amount of superstars who have wrestled 2 PPV matches and won them, I like to make this list a top 15. Max Mini is still top of this list as the only man who has wrestled 3 PPV matches and won them all. Mordecai, Paul Heyman, The Jumping Bomb Angels, Nicole Bass, Mini Nova, Butterbean and Mr T all stay in joint second but Juventud Guerrera and Super Crazy both fall of this list as they had previously won 2 out of 2. Due to those Mexicools falling of the list, Sable, Ricky Steamboat, Ultimate Warrior, Tiger Ali Singh and The Fabulous Moolah all rise up two places. That leaves two spots at the bottom which are filled by Hulk Hogan and Rick Steiner who both re-enter this list with 66.6% PPV wins.

Undertaker drops to second, Triple H stays in third and Shawn Michaels rises from 5th to 4th. Chris Jericho drops to 5th, Christian drops one place to 6th and Big Show is up on place to 7th. Edge stays in 8th, now joined by Billy Gunn who was previously 7th. Kurt Angle stays in 10th but is on his own due to a string of PPV losses recently. The Rock and JBL drop off this list.

8= The Bezerker 100% (5 matches)

I have decided to make this list a top 12. It now features everybody who has wrestled 5 matches and lost every single one of them. Koko B.Ware is still top of this list and will probably not be caught. Nunzio rises up to joint second following his loss at the Royal Rumble, joining Boris Zhukov, Bryan Clark and Maven. Skinner and Stacy Keibler drop a place down to 6th. Ron Bass, The Bezerker and Mark Jindrak stay in joint 8th but are now joined by Chris Masters and Mike Bucci.

Shawn Michaels rises from 5th to 4th following main events at Taboo Tuesday, Survivor Series and New Year’s Revolution. He swaps place with The Rock whilst Kurt Angle rises two places from 8th to 6th after main event 4 of the last 5 PPV’s. Bret Hart and Hulk Hogan drop a place to 7th, Mick Foley stays in 9th and Kane is a new entrant in 10th, replacing Kevin Nash.

The new match in the worst matches list is Teddy Long vs. Eric Bischoff from Survivor Series 2005 which goes in as the joint 7th worst PPV match of all time.

The same ten names feature on this list as they did on the last stat pack. Cactus Jack leads the way and is followed by four names that you wouldn’t expect to see on this list. Chris Benoit and Kurt Angle swap places in 6th and 7th with both men putting on quality matches at every pay per view. Steve Austin, Shane McMahon and Chris Jericho continue to take up the bottom three spots of this list.

This list goes from a top 10 to a top 12 due to the insertion of Candice Michelle and Maria. Those two ladies have wrestled in the same two matches on PPV, a “fulfil your fantasy” battle royal and “bra and panties gauntlet” both of which were not great. Everyone else remains on this list, with Nidia, Velvet McIntyre and Zach Gowan all dropping two places.
Bastions Top 10

9. Edge (23438)
10. Chris Benoit (21400)
This list is made up of a formula of matches wrestled, won, average match ratings, main events and win percentage. It creates a top 10 of the best of all time. This top ten features the same ten men as the last stat pack. Kane and Edge swap places but everybody else is in the same position. The rest of the top 20 (in order) is: Chris Jericho, Hulk Hogan, Owen Hart, The British Bulldog, Bradshaw, Billy Gunn, Christian, Mick Foley, Bubba Ray Dudley and Eddie Guerrero. The same 20 as before but with Bradshaw rising from 17th to 15th.

This list features the same formula as the mens top 10. The girls on this list are the same ten as the last stat pack and are all in the same order. Trish has extended her lead at the top following victories over the likes of Melina and Mickie James. Victoria and Torrie Wilson have actually dropped in points due to their losses but haven’t dropped down the list. Trish not only has double the amount of points than Chyna who is in second but Trish is actually 29th of all time in a joint men and womens list. Could she one day crack the top 20 or even the top 10? Only time will tell.
