Stat Pack Vol 48

Welcome everybody to my 48th WWE Stat Pack! I have been watching every WWF/WWE PPV from the very beginning, back from Wrestlemania 1 and reviewing each and every show. Every 5 or 10 PPVs I have put together and updated a stat pack which records all the major stats, facts and figures from the big shows. Within this Stat Pack you’ll see all the PPVs ranked as well as which wrestlers have fought the most matches, who has the most wins and losses, all matches rated and who has the best average match rating as well as figures on the tag teams, managers and much more. This Stat Pack covers from the original Wrestlemania through to Hell In A Cell 2011, a grand total of 270 PPV’s!

There are ten new entries to this list, taking it from a top 260 to a top 270. The new entries are the first ten shows from 2011. The highest new entry is Elimination Chamber 2011 which was a really solid outing helped with few matches but some really high quality on there. That is the 15th best PPV of all time up to now. Royal Rumble 2011 and Hell In A Cell 2011 both break into the top 50 and are definitely worth checking out. The worst PPV to be added to the list is Over The Limit 2011 which is ranked at joint 246th. Matches like Brie Bella vs. Kelly Kelly and Jerry Lawler vs. Michael Cole did that show no favours.

2011 is the newest year to be added to this list but 2011 isn’t quite complete yet, hence the asterisk. It’s in a good spot at the moment, 7th. Only one year has been better since 2003 and that was 2008. There are another three pay per views to review in 2011 so we’ll see how that affects 2011’s position.

Most PPV’s Wrestled On

1. The Undertaker (156)
2. Triple H (147)
3. Glenn Jacobs (Fake Diesel/Isaac Yankem/Kane) (135)
4. Edge (119)
5. Shawn Michaels (117)
6. Chris Jericho (104)
7. The Big Show (102)
8. John Cena (95)
9. Randy Orton (88)
10. Christian (84)

There have been 260 WWE PPV’s up to now and these are the guys that have wrestled on the majority of them. The top three have wrestled on over half. Since the last stat pack was posted 10 PPV’s prior to this, there have been a few changes. Undertaker still has the top spot but with he and Triple H only part time it means that Triple H has caught him up by one PPV. Glenn Jacobs is still third but Edge leapfrogs Shawn Michaels into fourth which is the highest he’ll go as Edge has been forced into retirement. Michaels drops to 5th, Jericho stays in 6th but Big Show claws ever closer in 7th. John Cena is still 8th but Randy Orton rises one position to 9th, he has now wrestled on 39 consecutive pay per views. Christian stays in 10th but he’s on his own as Matt Hardy and John “Bradshaw” Layfield drop off this list. Unbelievably John Cena has wrestled on just over a third of all WWE PPV’s up to now.

This list changes in a similar theme to the previous list. It is no longer a list of 13 but a top ten. The top 8 actually stay in exactly the same order. Randy Orton is the first moved, jumping up from joint 10th to 9th. Christian is a new entry to this list in 10th. Matt Hardy, Kurt Angle, John “Bradshaw” Layfield and Jeff Hardy all drop off this list!

This list goes from a top 17 back to a top 15. The top 10 all stay exactly the same, none of them have wrestled on a per per view in 2011. In fact, none of this list have and the two that have wrestled PPV matches in 2011 have dropped off this list. Tyson Kidd was joint 10th but he competed in the 2011 Royal Rumble match. Sable and Ultimate Warrior rise up a place as a result. Daniel Bryan also drops off this list following losses in the Royal Rumble and to Wade Barrett. Boogeyman, Tiger Ali Singh and Fabulous Moolah all jump up two places.

10. Torrie Wilson 56.25% (16 matches)

There are a couple of small changes to this list. The top 6 actually stay but John Cena’s win percentage continues to slowly decrease. He’s done enough to stay ahead of Brock Lesnar but Trish Stratus’s one match return at Wrestlemania moves her up from 9th to 7th. Spike Dudley and Randy Savage fall down one place and Torrie Wilson is a re-entry in 10th, replacing Beth Phoenix who has lost a couple of PPV matches to Kelly Kelly recently.

8. Chris Jericho (32072)
9. Kurt Angle (30700)
10. “Stone Cold” Steve Austin (30525)

This list is made up of a formula of matches wrestled, won, average match ratings, main events and win percentage. It creates a top 10 of the best of all time. This list changes slightly but the same ten men feature on it. The top 6 actually stay in the same order. Randy Orton was 10th on this list on the last stat pack but after wrestling on all ten PPV’s since then, he has moved up to 7th. Chris Jericho, Kurt Angle and Steve Austin all drop down a position. For this particular list I like to give you a top 20. So 11th to 20th in order are: The Rock, Chris Benoit, Bret Hart, Rey Mysterio, The Big Show, Jeff Hardy, Christian, Batista, Matt Hardy and John “Bradshaw” Layfield. As the top 20 go, Rey Mysterio rises from 15th to 14th, Big Show jumps from 18th to 15th, Jeff Hardy falls from 14th to 16th, Christian goes from 19th to 17th, Batista falls from 16th to 18th, Matt Hardy goes from 17th to 19th and JBL stays in 20th.

Trish Stratus is still top of the list and ranks as the 36th of all time in terms of both male and female superstars. There are no changes to the order of this list, the ten girls stay in the same order as on the last stat pack. Beth Phoenix’s overall ranking has gone up slightly and Michelle McCool’s has actually decreased slightly. Everyone else stays the same on this list.
