Welcome everybody to my 23rd WWE Stat Pack! I have been watching every WWF PPV from the very beginning, back from Wrestlemania 1 and reviewing each and every show. Every 5 PPVs I have put together and updated a stat pack which records all the major stats, facts and figures from the big shows. Within this Stat Pack you’ll see all the PPVs ranked as well as which wrestlers have fought the most matches, who has the most wins and losses, all matches rated and who has the best average match rating as well as figures on the tag teams, managers and much more. This Stat Pack covers from the original Wrestlemania through to No Mercy 2000.

The last Stat Pack was posted just after Judgment Day 2000 and since then Triple H has lost the WWF title to The Rock who in turn lost it to Kurt Angle. The Intercontinental title has gone from Chris Benoit to Rikishi to Val Venis to Chyna to Eddie Guerrero. The tag team titles were lost by Too Cool to Edge and Christian and they lost it to The Hardy Boyz. Perry Saturn won the European title from Eddie Guerrero but lost it to Al Snow. William Regal then beat Snow for the belt. We’ve also found out that it was Rikishi that ran over “Stone Cold” Steve Austin at Survivor Series last year. So let’s check out the stats.

2000 continues to be a brilliant year for WWF PPVs, the best year for PPVs so far. The highest new entry is Fully Loaded 2000 which had 3 big main events with The Rock vs. Chris Benoit, Triple H vs. Chris Jericho and The Undertaker vs. Kurt Angle. Unforgiven 2000 is also in the top 10 PPVs up to now and Summerslam 2000 is just outside the top 10. These all help 2000 to be the best year, sitting just above 1998. King Of The Ring is the lowest new entry in at #49 and is actually the weakest PPV of 2000 so far. It could have been a lot better.

There are a few changes to this list. There have now been 115 WWF PPVs and The Undertaker is the only man to have wrestled on over half of them. The top 6 actually stay in exactly the same order but Triple H  is now only 2 PPVs away from catching best friend Shawn Michaels. Billy Gunn has only wrestled on 1 of the last 5 PPVs due to injury so The Rock joins him in joint 7th. Mick Foley drops one place down to 9th and Sean Waltman is a new entry in 10th, leapfrogging “Stone Cold” Steve Austin who has missed a year of pay per views due to injury.

This list looks a lot like the previous one. Again, the top 6 are exactly the same as not only the previous list but the same list on the last Stat Pack. Triple H is very close to breaking into the top 5. The Rock jumps up from 9th to 7th which means Billy Gunn drops 2 places to 8th. Mick Foley drops down a place to 9th and Sean Waltman is alone now in the 10th spot as Steve Austin drops off the list completely.

This list is a top 15 as there are a lot of part timers at the top of the list. Steven Richards is a new entry at the very top of the list. He’s won all three of his PPV matches, all of them in tag team action. He joins Max Mini at the top. Everyone in the top 10 then drops down a position due to Richards. Eddie Guerrero, Rikishi and Shane McMahon all drop off this list due to losses they have suffered as of late. Hulk Hogan stays in 13th whilst The Steiner Brothers keep their spot in 14th.

The Undertaker becomes the first man to have won over 40 PPV matches. He retains his top spot and Bret Hart stays in second but it’s Triple H that leapfrogs Owen Hart and The British Bulldog into third place with wins over Chris Jericho, Chris Benoit and Kurt Angle in recent months. The Rock jumps from 9th to 6th after 4 wins in the last 5 PPVs. Billy Gunn and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin slip from 5th to 7th Shawn Michaels drops a position to 9th whilst The Road Dogg stays in 10th but is no longer joined by Hulk Hogan who has fallen off the list.

There aren’t a lot of draws on WWF PPV but there have been 2 on the last couple of PPVs. Steve Austin and Rikishi had a no contest at No Mercy and The Undertaker and Kane wrestled to a no contest at Summerslam. That moves The Undertaker and Kane up into joint 2nd whilst Austin is a new entry in joint 5th.

It now takes 24 losses to get on this list as opposed to 23. Owen Hart is still top of the list despite dying in the ring over a year ago. The Undertaker is second and Bret Hart drops a position to third. Bulldog, Foley and Michaels remain in fourth and is now joined by Sean Waltman who has lost a couple of matches to Chris Jericho recently. Triple H is the only new entry in at 10th with 24 losses and he replaces The Big Boss Man who hasn’t wrestled much at all in 2000.

These two lists are getting pretty huge now! There are a few new additions to both. From Summerslam 2000 the triple threat tag team TLC match goes right in at number 2. The other new entry to that list is also from Summerslam 2000 and that’s the technical masterclass between Chris Benoit and Chris Jericho. On the lowest rated matches front ther eis one new entry which is Pat Patterson vs. Gerald Briscoe from King Of The Ring 2000. That Hardcore title may have been on the line but not even Crash Holly could save that one.

This is always a facinating list. Terry Funk as Chainsaw Charlie is sat top of the list after his matches in the 1998 Royal Rumble, No Way Out Of Texas main event and Wrestlemania Dumpster match against the New Age Outlaws. Three great matches there. Vince McMahon is another one who always seems to be in good matches. His 6 man tag main event at King Of The Ring knocks him up from a 7.19 average to a 7.2. Chris Jericho rises from 7th to 3rd after a good run of matches against the likes of Chris Benoit, Kurt Angle, Triple H and X Pac. Ric Flair and Mick Foley rise one place each without even competing due to The Hardy Boyz surprisingly slipping down from 4th to 8th mainly due to their strange cage match at Unforgiven and their match against “Los Conquistadors” at No Mercy. Shane McMahon goes from 9th to joint 6th with Hakushi whilst Aldo Montoya goes from 10th to 9th and Chris Benoit falls down from 2nd to 10th mainly due to a dud with Rikishi at King Of The Ring.

This list of 10 have arguably had the worst matches in WWE PPV history and sadly 8 of the 10 are female. Terri Runnels, despite having the best PPV match of her career up to now, at Summerslam still sits top of this list. The Kat is a new entry after having that match with Terri. Moolah, Corporal Kirchner and Ivory all drop a position due to the new entry. Adrian Adonis, Debra and Velvet McIntyre all keep their positions whilst Tori drops down from 4th to 9th after a decent match with DX and The Dudley Boyz at King Of The Ring. Luna and Judy Martin both fall off the list due to The Kat being a new entry.

This list is made up of a formula of matches wrestled, won, average match ratings, main events and win percentage.It’s a top 10 as you would expect. The Undertaker sits top of the mountain and is followed by Bret Hart. Triple H is third, rising up from 5th place. Steve Austins rating has actually got a little less than what it was on the previous list due to his draw with Rikishi at No Mercy. He slips from 3rd to 4th whilst The Rock goes from 8th to 5th and Shawn Michaels drops from 4th to 6th. Owen Hart and The British Bulldog both fall down one place whilst Hulk Hogan and Billy Gunn keep their spots in 9th and 10th.
