Welcome everybody to my 34th WWE Stat Pack! I have been watching every WWF PPV from the very beginning, back from Wrestlemania 1 and reviewing each and every show. Every 5 PPVs I have put together and updated a stat pack which records all the major stats, facts and figures from the big shows. Within this Stat Pack you’ll see all the PPVs ranked as well as which wrestlers have fought the most matches, who has the most wins and losses, all matches rated and who has the best average match rating as well as figures on the tag teams, managers and much more. This Stat Pack covers from the original Wrestlemania through to No Mercy 2004,  an eye-watering 170 PPVs.

Since the last Stat Pack was posted just after Bad Blood 2004 a lot has gone on. On Raw Chris Benoit lost the World Heavyweight Championship to Randy Orton at Summerslam but Randy would only hold the title for a month before he lost it to Triple H. Randy would also lose his Intercontinental Championship to Edge before Edge got injured and had to vacate the title which was then won by Chris Jericho. Trish Stratus and La Resistance continue their Women’s and World Tag Team Championship reigns respectively. On Smackdown John “Bradshaw” Layfield beat Eddie Guerrero for the WWE Championship, John Cena was stripped of the United States Championship before winning it back from Booker T in a best of 5 series. The WWE Tag Team Championships have gone from Rico and Charlie Haas to The Dudley Boyz to Billy Kidman and Paul London and finally to Rene Dupree and Kenzo Suzuki. Rey Mysterio beat Chavo Guerrero for the Cruiserweight title but soon after he lost it to Spike Dudley. Oh, and Teddy Long is the new Smackdown General Manager.

Well the pay per views as of late have been very disappointing. The best of which was surprisingly a Smackdown brand PPV in No Mercy 2004. That goes in as the joint 38th best PPV of all time, co-incidentally equal with No Mercy 2000. Summerslam 2004 is the second best show of the year so far, with a 60.3 out of 100 rating. The Great American Bash 2004 was one of the worst shows in recent memory with a 48.4 out of 100 rating. Overall it puts 2004 in tenth place so far, slightly improving over the last 5 pay per views.

The top 7 stay in exactly the same order with Undertaker still leading the way, 17 ahead of Triple H. Chris Jericho stays in 8th but is no longer joined by Edge and Christian who drop to 9th and 10th respectively. Like I said before, Bret Hart is now off this list.

At this stage, this is quite a familiar list. Kenzo Suzuki and Mordecai, two newcomers to Smackdown are new entries, both men having won their first two PPV matches. Sable drops a place to 10th despite beating Torrie Wilson at The Great American Bash 2004. As a result, Torrie drops 5 places from 8th to 13th. Ricky steamboat drops 2 places whilst The Ultimate Warrior drops one place. Tiger Ali Singh and The Fabulous Moolah drop a position to 14th whilst the likes of Randy Orton, Rick Steiner, Batista and Steven Richards drop off this list altogether.

Can The Undertaker be caught? Triple H goes one main event closer to him and goes joint with Stone Cold Steve Austin as a result. Mostly because none of these teams have wrestled on the last 5 PPV’s and the teams that have such as La Resistance, Rene Dupree and Kenzo Suzuki and Rob Van Dam and Rey Mysterio are temporary teams that can’t pick up a string of wins. Too many two-PPV teams on this list for my liking.
